In the latest episode of Coronation Street, there’s an unexpected change within the Platt household that unfolds on a very dramatic day in Weatherfield.
With a chilling past, Mick Michaelis (previously known as Joe Layton) managed to break free from prison and made his way to the local high school in search of his daughter Joanie (Savanna Pennington). This discovery left the students petrified, for they now found themselves on the same campus as a ruthless killer.
Lily Platt, one of the students, found refuge, locking herself in a classroom. Unfortunately, she didn’t manage to let her terrified cousin, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan), join her inside.
After what has transpired, Sam’s father, Nick Tilsley (played by Ben Price), will face off with his half-brother David Platt (portrayed by Jack P Shepherd) regarding Lily’s behavior.
