A recent trailer for Coronation Street reveals what’s coming up for the people of Weatherfield after the big crossover event with Emmerdale.
It’s been several weeks since a major crash revealed secrets, led to surprising arrests, and sadly, resulted in deaths – with some familiar characters reappearing. But the recent trailer suggests the events in Corriedale were just the start, and next week will bring even more drama to Weatherfield.
Quick scenes from Corriedale remind us of past crashes and explosions, each one leading to its own unique aftermath.

The storyline that led to Billy Mayhew’s death, caused by Theo Silverton, will now focus on Theo battling with his overwhelming guilt.
Before the funeral began, he stood over the Archdeacon’s coffin, publicly expressing his regret for not being there when he passed away. Unbeknownst to him, it seems someone was listening to everything he said.
A door slams, and Theo begins to panic.

Shona Platt is deeply concerned about how her sister, Jodie Ramsey, ended up in the recent car crash. As viewers know, Jodie was tied up and held captive in Graham Foster’s van before the accident.
Having escaped, she encountered Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) in the woods nearby. He later tells Shona about this, making her even more determined to understand what happened and how she got into this predicament.
And what exactly does she want from Shona?

Lisa Swain is hoping to rebuild her life, even though her wife, Becky (Amy Cudden), is in prison for twelve years for kidnapping Carla Connor (Alison King).
She’s reached out to Carla, apologizing and asking for answers, but it’s unclear if Carla will be open to hearing her out.
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is facing a potential prison sentence after her son, Carl (Jonathan Howard), manipulated the scene to make it look like she was driving when the incident occurred. Believing she was behind the wheel, Debbie has pleaded guilty to causing death while driving under the influence.

Brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is certain Carl is to blame, and he’s confused why she’s so determined to protect him, as she still thinks he’s their brother.
The final shot of the trailer seems to show her walking through a prison corridor.
Will the truth ever prevail?
