Fans of Coronation Street are getting a sneak peek at Catherine Tyldesley’s return as Eva Price, who is now set to run the famous Rovers Return pub.
Eva returns in the episode on October 27th. Her husband, Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker), will surprise her by revealing he’s bought the pub as a gift.
The official ITV trailer shows the couple starting their journey with a lavish party.
Eva’s happiness will be interrupted when her mother-in-law, Maggie, arrives with surprising and upsetting news.
It was so great to see Eva back in the Rovers! After being away since 2018, she finally bumped into her half-sister, Leanne Battersby, and Leanne’s stepsister, Toyah. It felt like old times seeing them all together again.
But what have we missed since Eva left our screens?
Rounding out the family are Eva’s daughter, Susie, played by Aurora Bradshaw, and Ben’s sons, Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike).
Ollie has started dating Dee-Dee Bailey, and while things are progressing, he’s kept a secret from her: his family is about to move onto the street.
