Even though it’s a while until 2025 and the release of “Jurassic World Rebirth“, I can’t shake off the anticipation for it. Re-watching the original “Jurassic Park” and its sequels, as well as the latest installments in the franchise, has sparked more curiosity about how “Rebirth” will separate itself from the Jurassic series. What initially seemed like an insignificant reference now feels like a significant one, suggesting that it carries some importance or meaning.
An Early Phone Call In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Contains A Familiar Name
Discuss with me now about my favorite film from 2018, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, as I recently rewatched it and found something intriguing. Specifically, the phone call between Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and a U.S. Congresswoman in Act 1 sparked a memory for me. The name of this politician seemed familiar.

If you’re not inclined to revisit this segment on your Peacock subscription, that’s perfectly fine. In the beginning of ‘Fallen Kingdom’, we see Claire interacting with Congresswoman Delgado, a name that might sound familiar if you’ve watched ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’. This character is crucial to our theory, so give it a moment to sink in – since she plays a significant role in the storyline.

Congresswoman Delgado Might Be Related To Jurassic World Rebirth’s Human Family
In the Jurassic Park universe, it’s common for parents to be separated, a plot point established since the beginning. But the new installment, Jurassic World Rebirth, appears unique because Reuben Delgado (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) explicitly states that the children’s mother is still present in their lives.
Why didn’t she join the family vacation when it could have put everyone at risk? I believe it’s because she’s currently serving as Congresswoman Delgado. Given David Koepp’s story guidelines for the Jurassic series, which ensure continuity across installments, this seems more like a nod to past events (a retconned Easter egg) than just a random choice.
In a hypothetical scenario, the series could reveal various aspects such as potential sequel directions and reasons behind young Isabella’s (Audrina Miranda) fear of dinosaurs. Given that her mother might have brought home an abundance of dinosaur-related items for research purposes in the legislative field, it would leave no space for curiosity – just fear.

I’m Even More Afraid For Poor Little Dolores
With even more questions sparked by Dolores the aquilops’ post-Rebirth enigmas adding to my unease, this fresh theory only intensifies that unsettling anticipation. If Congresswoman Delgado from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is their matriarch, it suggests they probably reside on the East Coast of the United States.
As someone who appreciates the sentiments, I might say: Just as Teresa (Luna Blaise), the eldest child, decided to attend NYU in the fall, fearing she’d stray too far from family, perhaps if Jurassic World Rebirth had spared dinosaurs beyond the equatorial tropics, such a predicament wouldn’t exist.
Perhaps I should go over the recent tour through the prehistoric park again since there might be additional hints that could either confirm or disprove my hypothesis. If you’re still captivated by dinosaurs or haven’t experienced Rebirth‘s 3D show yet, you can likely catch it at a nearby cinema.
