In August (specifically from the 20th to the 24th), Pearl Abyss’s game Crimson Desert will be back at Gamescom, showcasing a fresh demo for visitors. As per the latest press release, this demo can be experienced by players using a controller, and it is being run on a PC system.
Pearl Abyss Europe‘s CEO, Lybee Park, expressed his excitement as they unveiled the first public demonstration of “Crimson Desert” at Gamescom 2025. He looks forward to players diving into the gameplay experience they’ve created, hoping that everyone who visits will feel connected to “Crimson Desert” and eager for its launch.
Initially conceived as a prequel for Black Desert Online, Crimson Desert transformed into an independent title within the same universe. The story unfolds in Pywel, where the protagonist Kliff commands a band of mercenaries known as the Greymanes. Following a sequence of events, they disband and Kliff sets out on a quest to reconnect with his companions.
The vibrant game titled “Crimson Desert” is being crafted for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. So far, a substantial amount of gameplay featuring its expansive open world and boss battles has been demonstrated. For more information and our insights on it, follow this link.
