
Pearl Abyss announced that Crimson Desert will have three graphics options when it releases on PlayStation 5. The standard PS5 and the more powerful PS5 Pro will each offer different resolutions and frame rates. When the game launches on March 19, 2026, players will be able to choose the mode that best suits their console and preferences.

Pearl Abyss, the developer of Crimson Desert, has faced criticism recently for primarily showcasing the game on computers. Fans have been asking for more gameplay footage from the console versions, and it seems the lack of it is frustrating the development team. Community manager Will Powers stated last week, “We aren’t intentionally leaving anything out, and I’m tired of having to explain that.”
