
Pearl Abyss announced that Crimson Desert will have three graphics settings when it releases on consoles. The base PlayStation 5 and the more powerful PS5 Pro will offer different resolutions and frame rates. When the game launches on March 19, 2026, players will be able to choose the mode that best suits their PS5 console.

Pearl Abyss, the developer of Crimson Desert, has faced criticism recently for primarily showcasing the game on PC. Players have been asking for more footage of the game running on consoles, and this lack of console gameplay seems to be frustrating the development team. Community manager Will Powers stated last week, “We aren’t intentionally leaving anything out, and I’m tired of having to explain that.”
