Cristin Milioti Details “Incredible Roller Coaster” of Emmys 2025 Win

Cristin Milioti is thankful her time acting hasn’t been limited.

After winning an Emmy for her role in *The Penguin*, the actress shared her thoughts on achieving such a significant career accomplishment.

“It feels amazing!” Cristin shared with reporters, including those from TopMob News, after accepting her award backstage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14th. “I’m truly overwhelmed – it’s been an incredible journey, and it feels so good.”

I absolutely love this work more than anything,” the *How I Met Your Mother* actor shared. “Being able to continue doing it, especially with such talented and wonderful people – the actors, the crew, the writers, and the directors – is just amazing. It truly means a lot to me.

As to what the 40-year-old would go back and tell her younger self?

Cristin advised staying strong and trusting your instincts. She acknowledged it doesn’t always feel right, and others may disagree, but ultimately, your gut feeling is usually correct, so keep listening to it.

She also worked on the HBO limited series set in the Batman world, which received 23 nominations at the 77th Emmy Awards hosted by Nate Bargatze. Playing Sofia Falcone in the often-dark setting of Gotham City, she found the experience to be a positive one.

Cristin Milioti shared with reporters how much she enjoyed working on the project, both as a viewer and as an actress. She described it as a lifelong dream come true, explaining that she grew up watching all the *Batman* movies and always hoped to be a part of that universe. She felt incredibly fulfilled and had an amazing experience bringing her vision to life. It was a deeply emotional and moving opportunity for her.
