Bloober Team has released a free demo for their new survival horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn, on PC. The demo lets you play the first 30 minutes, exploring the Apartment Zone and learning about the game’s Merge system. You can see the system in action in the trailer linked below.
You’ll primarily use the Traveller’s handgun, though the Flamethrower is also available and great for keeping enemies at bay. Any progress you make carries over to the full game, which is currently 15% off on Steam and the Epic Games Store until November 4th. You can also check out the first thirty minutes of gameplay right here.
I’ve been really enjoying Cronos: The New Dawn – it’s available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and even the new Nintendo Switch 2! I checked out a review and most people seem to like it, and it actually sold over 200,000 copies at launch, which is awesome. The developers said they didn’t have a massive budget to start with, which explains a lot. Sadly, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting a sequel, but the team is already working on something totally new, which is exciting!
