In the survival-horror game titled “Cronos: The New Dawn,” you’ll find that there are only eight weapons available throughout the story, with three being slight variations. Most of these weapons can be picked up fairly easily, but there’s a chance some might slip past you during gameplay. Sadly, if this happens, you won’t have the opportunity to go back and grab them later in the game.
In this walkthrough for “Cronos: The New Dawn”, you’ll find a comprehensive, time-sequenced rundown detailing the acquisition and specifics of each of the eight weapons available within the game.
Sword MK-1615
This handgun is in your possession from the beginning by default.
A trustworthy weapon that continually improves throughout your gaming experience, offering chargeable capabilities for increased damage and the ability to penetrate multiple targets simultaneously.
Hammer PROV-2030
Lying atop a table in a room while en route to the Housing Project.
A semi-automatic shotgun featuring wide shot dispersion and adjustable magazine size. Load it up to increase the spread and enhance the damage output.
Pyre
On a table in a safe room in the Steelworks.
An remotely deployable explosive device with motion-sensitive triggering capabilities, capable of being thrown some distance, also can be destroyed by shooting it head-on directly.
Dagger PS-3713
Atop a table in another safe zone in the Steelworks, just prior to acquiring gravity boots.
An alternative version of the Sword, capable of continuous shooting (full-auto), features a slower firing speed and manageable recoil. It can also be used in single-shot mode (semi-auto), though it’s no longer possible to load it for charging up.
Javelin LK-102
Lying on a table in a safe zone en route to the Hospital.
A versatile weapon that can switch between burst and continuous firing, capable of launching homing bullets when set to full-auto mode. The charge powers the full-auto function.
This weapon offers both burst and continuous shooting modes and is equipped with self-guiding rounds that are activated in full-auto fire. The ammo is powered up fully for continuous firing.
Mace JER-5120
Lying on a table inside the locked Chapel Backroom in Unity Hospital.
A modified version of the Hammer gun, featuring only a double barrel instead of additional rounds preloaded and a standard ammunition reload system. This weapon discharges both barrels rapidly, but to achieve maximum efficiency, it’s best used at relatively short distances.
Arbalest MT-1020
Propped up against the train diorama display table inside the locked Toy Store at Station B.
As a gamer, I’d say: “I’ve got this small yet powerful weapon – think of it like a compact missile launcher. It might not be the quickest to shoot, and I’ll need to conserve my ammo, but when I pull the trigger, boy, does it pack a punch! The blast radius is something else.
Lance REV-1411
Lying on a table inside the locked Bell Tower at the Abbey.
An extended range version of the Javelin, equipped with a charged firing mode and a powerful three-shot sequence. The regular firing pattern resembles that of the standard Javelin burst.
Those are the locations of all eight of the weapons you can find in Cronos: The New Dawn.
