While Bloober Team’s remake of Silent Hill 2 is doing well, their new game, Cronos: The New Dawn, hasn’t sold as many copies. After almost three months, Cronos has reached 500,000 units sold, and the developers have expressed their gratitude to players.
While sales are up from the initial 200,000+ units sold on launch day, the increase isn’t substantial. This is likely due to the game launching so close to the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong – a bit ironic, given previous statements that they weren’t concerned about Silksong impacting sales.
The timing wasn’t ideal, as several other big games like Borderlands 4, Hades 2, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds were released shortly after. Plus, it also had to compete with popular franchises such as Dying Light: The Beast and Silent Hill f, both of which were successful.
500 000 Travelers are already paving the path through the unforgiving world, distorted between timelines!
Here’s to another incredible milestone for #CronosNewDawn — thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 🔥❤️
