
The creator of Fullmetal Alchemist has a new anime series premiering this April, and Crunchyroll has announced good news for English-speaking fans. The spring anime season is now underway, with many highly anticipated new shows and returning favorites launching in the coming weeks. Crunchyroll plans to release English dubs for many of these new series at the same time as their Japanese premieres.
Hiromu Arakawa’s Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a highly anticipated new anime series debuting in Spring 2026. Crunchyroll has announced it will receive an English dub, and now they’ve confirmed the English dub episodes will be released on the same day as they air in Japan, starting with the premiere on April 4th. Daemons of the Shadow Realm Confirms English Dub Release Date & Cast
The new anime series, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, will premiere on Crunchyroll on April 4th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Asia, and other regions will be able to watch with both Japanese and English audio options. Crunchyroll is producing the English dub, with Shawn Gann directing the voice actors and Matthew Greenbaum writing the English script. The cast list has also been announced.
The English dub of Daemons of the Shadow Realm features a talented voice cast, including Ben Stegmair as Yuru, Molly Zhang as Asa, Bill Butts as Right, Colleen Clinkenbeard as Left, Jarrod Greene as Dera, Mikaela Krantz as Gabby, Nic Hamill and Amanda Gael as Gabriel, Wendy Powell as Yamaha, Abi Kumar as Danji, Seth Magill as Mine, Jordan Chanthra Weir, Brianna Roberts as Kyoka, and Cailtin Martelle as Azami. We won’t have to wait much longer to see them bring these characters to life!
What to Know for Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anime
Originally appearing in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in 2001, Hiromu Arakawa’s Daemons of the Shadow Realm is getting an anime adaptation. Masahiro Ando will direct the series at Bones Film, with scripts by Noburu Takagi, character designs by Nobuhiro Arai, and music by Kenichiro Suehiro. The team behind it is very talented, and fans are hoping the anime will be as good as Fullmetal Alchemist.
This new anime is a fantasy action series about twin siblings who have the ability to control powerful spiritual beings called Daemons. The power system and the world it’s set in look really interesting, and we’ll likely learn more about them as the series unfolds. Now that the anime has started airing, it’s time to see what Daemons of the Shadow Realm has to offer.
