As 2025 wraps up, I’m already getting hyped for Winter 2026 anime, and Crunchyroll has just confirmed it’s going to be HUGE! It’s becoming really clear that the new year is starting with a massive lineup – not only are we getting a ton of brand new series, but some of our favorite franchises are coming back with fresh episodes too! What to Watch on Crunchyroll in January 2026

I’m seeing a great mix of shows for this season! Several series from last Fall are continuing, like Detective Conan, Digimon Beatbreak, The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 5, SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes, To Your Eternity Season 3, and You and Idol Precure. But the biggest names really leading the way seem to be Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Fire Force, and Oshi no Ko.
Keep an eye out for upcoming premieres like Sentenced to Be a Hero (previously scheduled for 2025), Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers (a reboot of Ronin Warriors), Hana-Kimi, and more. This is just a small taste of everything that’s on the way!
