Crunchyroll Launches Same-Day English Dub for My Hero Academia’s New Episodes

New episodes of the My Hero Academia prequel series started airing in January, and Crunchyroll is releasing an English dub on the same day as its Japanese debut. Fans have had a lot of feelings lately, as the main My Hero Academia anime finished its eight-season run last year. However, the story isn’t over! The prequel, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, is back with a second season that everyone’s been waiting for.

Season 2 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has begun airing, with new episodes released weekly as part of the Winter 2026 anime season. A big surprise for fans is that Crunchyroll will release the English dub alongside the original Japanese version, meaning viewers can enjoy the latest episodes no matter their preferred language. The entire English dub cast is also returning for the new season.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 English Dub Cast Revealed

Season 2 of the English dub for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes features a cast including Jack Broadbent as Koichi Haimawari, Macy Anne Johnson as Pop Step, and Christopher Wehkamp as Shota Aizawa. Other notable voice actors are Kyle Hebert (Fat Gum), Molly Searcy (Makoto), Elizabeth Maxwell (Midnight), Dave Trosko (Present Mic), Alejandro Saab (Tsukauchi), Juliet Simmons (Yu), Spencer Liles (Ichiro), Orion Pitts (Jiro), Kristin Sutton, Sara Ragsdale, and Jessica Peterson (as the Little Sisters), with additional roles voiced by Naya Moreno, Sara Ragsdale, and Ben Stegmair.

Season 2 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes hasn’t announced its total episode count, but it’s expected to have around 12 to 13 episodes, making up one part of the season. With the story now moving to a new location and introducing Koichi and Pop Step to new challenges, the police are intensifying their investigation into the dangerous Trigger drug that caused problems throughout the first season. This suggests the storyline is about to become more intense.

What’s Coming in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2?

The second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is set to explore the power of Trigger in more detail, and will introduce a major new villain. While fans have gotten glimpses of this villain in promotional materials and the opening sequence, the season will fully reveal their role. However, an even more significant development is coming soon in the new episodes.

The anime series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will finally reveal the long-awaited backstory of Aizawa in its upcoming second season. The main My Hero Academia series only briefly suggested a connection between Aizawa, Present Mic, and the origins of the villain Kurogiri, and now fans will get to see that full story animated.
