Cruz Beckham is adding a little spice to the situation.
After his brother Brooklyn publicly discussed being distanced from the family, 20-year-old Romeo Beckham, son of Victoria and David Beckham, posted something on social media.
On January 22nd, Cruz shared a picture of a Brazilian soda on his Instagram Stories. While the soda itself wasn’t important to the ongoing family situation, people noticed the song he added to the post: Victoria Beckham’s 2001 song, “I’m Not Such an Innocent Girl.”
He recently shared his mother’s song as fans work to get it to the top of the UK charts 24 years after it was first released. This comes during a time of reported tension between his parents and his older brother, Brooklyn, and isn’t the first time he’s hinted at the family situation.
Senator Cruz previously showed support for a social media post that made light of claims made by Brooklyn Beckham about his mother’s behavior at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham. The post, verified by TopMob News, compared the situation to a suggestive performance by Victoria Beckham from 2001.
He also showed appreciation for a January 20th Instagram Reel by comedian Olly Hume. The Reel humorously portrayed him as the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, jokingly announcing, “And now for the song requested by the mother of the groom for her first dance with her son.”
Olly acted surprised when Ginuwine’s song “Pony” started playing, and playfully commented, “Interesting moves Victoria.”
Brooklyn first shared details about what he claims his mother did at his wedding in a statement on January 19th, saying it left him feeling uncomfortable and humiliated.
