Cruz Beckham Shares Hope for Reuniting With Brooklyn Beckham Amid Feud

Cruz Beckham still has love for Brooklyn Beckham. 

On March 4th, while his older brother turned 27, Cruz spoke to TMZ about the possibility of them making up, saying, “I hope so,” despite their family’s continuing disagreement.

The 21-year-old also extended well wishes to his brother, adding, “Happy birthday.”

Brooklyn Beckham’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, along with his siblings Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14, also joined in celebrating his birthday.

On March 4th, the couple shared a nostalgic photo with their son on Instagram, wishing him a ‘Happy birthday, Brooklyn!’ and expressing their deep love for him.

Brooklyn didn’t mention his family’s birthday messages publicly, but his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, did share some photos and details of how they celebrated his birthday.

She shared a photo on Instagram of the special doughnuts made for Brooklyn’s birthday – pink, sprinkle-covered treats shaped like letters that spelled out “Happy Birthday Brooklyn!”

Nicola, of course, also added her own sweet note to her husband of nearly four years.

Honestly, seeing someone I care about thrive just fills my heart. I recently told a friend how much joy they bring to everyone around them – they genuinely brighten up any space, and it’s clear how loved they are by all who know them. I simply wished them all the happiness and success they deserve!

The freshly 27-year-old did share love to his wife, adding in the comments, “My baby girl xxx.”

Brooklyn didn’t respond to his family’s birthday messages, and he’d already made it clear he wasn’t planning to reconcile with them.

I saw Brooklyn’s post on Instagram yesterday, and it really resonated with me. She made it clear she doesn’t want to make amends with her family right now. More importantly, she explained it’s about finally taking control of her own life and advocating for herself – something she says she’s never really done before. It feels incredibly brave and empowering to see her stand up for what she needs.

The photographer said that since he stopped speaking to his parents, he’s no longer anxious.

Honestly, hearing him talk like that just kills me. He said he wakes up every single day feeling thankful for the life he’s built, and that he’s finally found peace. It’s everything I’ve always wanted for him! He and his wife just want to live their lives, you know? They don’t care about the cameras, or what the tabloids say, or anyone trying to control them. They just want to be happy, have some privacy, and raise their family in peace. It’s so pure and beautiful, I could cry!

While there wasn’t an official requirement, many people expected Nicola Peltz Beckham to wear a wedding dress designed by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, when she married Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022. The wedding took place at Nicola’s family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Nicola kept quiet about the situation for months, but eventually confirmed there wasn’t any conflict over a dress. She did admit she was a little upset that she couldn’t wear a custom design by Victoria Beckham.

As a stylist, I’ve seen this happen more times than I can count! Back in August 2022, I was chatting with Variety about a dress I was really excited about wearing. The designer initially said yes, and I was thrilled. But a few months later, she realized her workshop just couldn’t manage the creation in time. So, I had to find a different outfit. It wasn’t a case of her saying I couldn’t wear it, or me not wanting to – it was simply a logistical issue. Unfortunately, the media took that small detail and really ran with it, creating a whole story!

Brooklyn shared that she’s realized people will always try to be negative or bring others down. However, she’s happy to report that everyone on the team gets along well.

Speaking to Grazia the following month, Nicola called the Beckhams “great in-laws.”

Victoria, who rarely speaks about gossip, finally described the Peltz-Beckham wedding as “beautiful.”

“Seeing my son so happy is incredibly rewarding,” she shared on TODAY that October. “You can’t ask for anything more than that.”

Tom Cruise and all four of Victoria Beckham’s former Spice Girls bandmates attended her lavish 50th birthday party on April 20, 2024, though her daughter-in-law was unable to make it.

Nicola shared on Instagram that she was visiting her grandmother, who sadly passed away less than a month later.

Nicola couldn’t make it to Victoria Beckham’s birthday party, so she shared a message on Instagram saying, “Happy birthday to my beautiful mother-in-law! I’m so sad I can’t be there to celebrate with you and give you a hug. Sending you all my love from me and my nanny. I miss everyone so much!” She had also previously wished Victoria a happy birthday on April 17th, posting a picture of them together and writing, “I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.”

Nicola was deeply affected by Naunni’s death, and many others felt the loss as well. Brooklyn shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, remembering Naunni’s joyful spirit and infectious laughter. They expressed how much they missed Naunni and would love them forever, and sadly acknowledged that their future children wouldn’t have the chance to know such a special person. Brooklyn finished by saying Naunni was truly one of a kind and missed every single day.

In a June 2024 interview with InStyle, Brooklyn reflected on his upbringing – growing up with a famous footballer father and a Spice Girl mother – and said he had a very happy childhood.

He admitted things were busy, but said he had amazing parents and really enjoyed himself.

It’s unclear why, but Brooklyn and Nicola weren’t in any of the pictures David Beckham’s parents shared from his 50th birthday celebration with family and friends in London in May 2025.

According to a source at TopMob News, the couple traveled to England, choosing to miss the Met Gala on May 5th, because they wanted to visit David and celebrate his birthday with him that week or weekend.

According to a source who spoke with People magazine, Brooklyn Beckham decided against going to David’s party because he didn’t want to encounter his brother Romeo’s girlfriend at the time, DJ Kim Turnbull. Turnbull had been increasingly present at family events, like the Victoria Beckham show during Paris Fashion Week in March 2025, ever since she and Romeo began dating in November 2024.

When someone on Instagram wondered why Brooklyn Beckham missed his dad’s party, seemingly to be with Kim, Cruz Beckham, Brooklyn’s younger brother, quickly responded to clarify that “Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”

After reports surfaced that Brooklyn and Nicola had hired a lawyer previously known for working with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a source confirmed to TopMob News that the couple do have legal representation, but it’s not related to protecting their public image.

Instead, they’ve brought in Jenny Afi, a lawyer from the U.K. firm Schillings, to correct inaccurate information and fight the spread of misinformation.

Although the law firm represents the Sussexes – and had David and Victoria Beckham as wedding guests in 2018 – a source confirmed there’s no link between this situation and Meghan and Harry. Schillings is simply a well-regarded firm with many clients.

The source pointed out that this situation perfectly illustrates the need for a lawyer – to correct false information and ensure the truth is known.

Neither Brooklyn nor Nicola publicly acknowledged David’s knighthood in November 2025. They were also missing from the celebration when his soccer team, Inter Miami CF, won the MLS Cup in December 2025; only Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper were there to cheer the victory.

In late December 2025, after people realized David and Victoria Beckham weren’t following Brooklyn on Instagram, their son Cruz quickly dismissed rumors that his parents had blocked him on social media.

He stated he doesn’t want to make amends with his family. He explained that he’s asserting his independence and finally taking a stand for himself.

In a recent post, Brooklyn accused his parents of manipulating media coverage about their family, prioritizing the “Beckham brand” over everything else, and actively attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola.

He mentioned struggling with anxiety during his childhood, but since creating distance from his family, he’s experienced a sense of calm and relief.
