CD Projekt RED has revealed that they will present the upcoming changes in Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 during a new REDstream event. This special broadcast will commence on July 16th at 8 AM Pacific Time/5 PM Central European Summer Time, and will feature Paweł Sasko, an associate game director from Project Orion, and Adrien Jouannet, the lead designer from Virtuos, as guests.
Initially scheduled for June 26th, Patch 2.3 encountered a postponement as the team required additional time to perfect its features. Meanwhile, Virtuos had been busy working on Patch 2.2, introducing more than 100 character customization choices, 10 newly designed vehicles, a revamped Character Creation with randomized elements, new Photo Mode options, and the RayField CrystalCoat for personalizing vehicle colors.
Update on Patch 2.3: Its purpose mirrors that of its predecessor, but CD Projekt RED hasn’t divulged any specifics about what it entails yet. Keep an eye out for further updates and a potential release date announcement coming up tomorrow. In the meantime, feel free to read our refreshed review of Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion, Phantom Liberty. Since its September 2023 launch, the latter has achieved ten million sales.
