Dakota Johnson is rocking fifty shades of denim—and not much else.

Sydney Sweeney, known for her role in Madame Web, is the face of Calvin Klein’s spring 2026 campaign. She’s featured in the ads wearing the brand’s new jeans and underwear, and appears topless in some of the shots.

A new advertisement, filmed by Gordon von Steiner, features Dakota, age 36, casually relaxing at home in a black bra while reading a script. The ad then shows her playing pool alone, wearing only the brand’s panties and high heels, with a slight view of her side.

The actress from Materialists relaxed by the pool reading, then playfully danced on a bed while wearing loose blue jeans, briefly covering her chest with her long brown hair. The promotional video then shows her in the kitchen, where she playfully places pomegranates, a metal pitcher, and a coffee cup over her breasts.

In a statement released on March 9th, she explained that Calvin Klein jeans and underwear have a lasting appeal, creating a comfortable and confident feeling when worn. She described how a woman relaxing at home can feel free and empowered, and that this feeling, combined with the recognizable style of Calvin Klein, creates something both unique and timeless.

As someone who’s followed Dakota Johnson’s career, I know she’s very comfortable with the demands of filmmaking, and that includes nudity. She’s actually spoken about this before, explaining that sometimes it’s essential for authentically portraying a scene and telling the story truthfully. It’s about serving the project, and she’s always been open about that aspect of her work.

In a 2017 interview with Vogue, she explained that she approaches these scenes with a European perspective. She believes it’s unrealistic to depict characters in just a bra and underwear during intimate moments, stating plainly that people are completely naked during sex.

But Dakota noted that she may not be comfortable baring all forever.

“Will I stop doing nude scenes when my boobs start sagging?” she asked. “I don’t know.”
