Dakota Mortensen‘s team is sharing his side of the story.
A representative for Whitney Mortensen, who shares a 23-month-old son named Ever with former Bachelorette lead, spoke publicly after claims surfaced about a possible argument between Mortensen and her ex-wife, Taylor Frankie Paul, back in February.
His main concern is protecting his 2-year-old son, Ever,” a representative told Entertainment Weekly on March 18. The representative also stated that while he anticipated the situation might become public, he didn’t want to be the one to reveal it, as he hopes to maintain a good relationship with Taylor.
The rep noted that Mortensen ultimately “wants to co-parent well.”
Police told People magazine on March 16th that Viggo Mortensen and his partner are involved in a domestic dispute investigation, with reports of issues coming from both sides.
Production on season five of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has temporarily stopped for approximately two to three weeks following recent news, according to a source with the show.
Paul recently discussed a difficult period in her life, following her split from Mortensen in May 2025. The couple had been in an on-again, off-again relationship for three years.
It’s really upsetting to go through this, particularly right now,” she shared with People magazine. “The timing is just difficult, and it’s a significant thing. Honestly, I’ve never been able to fully enjoy any premiere, and this one feels the same.
Although she admitted it was very difficult, Paul explained that she chose to continue with public appearances to promote the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, which starts on March 22nd.
It’s definitely been tough, but I also feel like I can’t miss out on these opportunities. I’ve worked hard for this, and there’s something really amazing on the horizon that I want to be a part of.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen began dating while appearing on the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and had a son, Ever, together in 2024. However, their relationship ended because Dakota was unfaithful.
Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that things were going wonderfully with Dakota after their daughter Ever was born – they were living together and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she soon discovered he had been dishonest with her the whole time.
Taylor was accused by a woman named Jenna of having a relationship with Dakota, claiming they had been intimate on multiple occasions. Taylor has denied these accusations, stating in a TikTok post from September 2024 that he was faithful.
On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.
She told the interviewer, “It was him.” She explained that he admitted to kissing her on the couch, and then they became intimate there before moving to another room.”

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, Taylor is enjoying life and is open to finding new love. The mother of three – Indy and Ocean, whom she shares with her former husband, Tate Paul – will be looking for a partner on season 22 of The Bachelorette.
Nonetheless, she and Dakota are committed to developing a successful co-parenting relationship.
Taylor shared with TopMob News in May 2025 that she and her partner are both working on personal healing so they can improve their individual well-being. She explained that they weren’t able to progress as a couple, and currently, their priority is doing what’s best for their child. She added that she’s focusing on her own needs at this time and isn’t sure what the future holds.
Okay, so things got really messy back in early March. I mean, I was totally glued to the internet because rumors started flying about a supposed run-in between them! It was awful, honestly, and I just needed to know everything that happened. It was a total drama bomb!
A representative from the Draper City Police Department told People magazine they are investigating a possible domestic assault. Both people involved have accused each other of wrongdoing, according to police.

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and he’s been her perfect partner ever since. They have three children – Sedona, Liam, and Billy – and have worked through challenges as they live their lives in the public eye.
For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.
She jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Like, do I need to put out a sex tape?” On the Off the Vine podcast in October 2024, she assured listeners, “We’re good. Everything’s fine.”
She explained that he had battled a pornography addiction, something I wasn’t aware of personally. She mentioned a scene where a friend observed his confusion regarding sexuality, suggesting it was apparent to others.
Despite facing challenges, the reality star shared that she and her husband, Connor, are more solid as a couple than ever before. They proved their commitment by renewing their wedding vows in February 2026, celebrating their tenth anniversary.
Conner shared with Brides that he and his partner married young. He explained that while their wedding day was special for them as a couple, it also felt very much about celebrating with their families. They wanted to create a truly personal experience, and they felt this was a fun way to do just that.

Okay, so Jen and Zac Affleck – totally different Afflecks than the Ben Affleck, people keep making that mistake, it’s hilarious – have actually been married since 2019! But honestly, ever since their show started, there have always been rumors about them splitting up. It’s like, can’t they just be happy? I’m seriously obsessed with them and I just want them to last!
I remember when everything seemed to fall apart after Jen went to that Chippendales show in Vegas – it was a huge deal on the first season of the show! Thankfully, they worked through it. I was so relieved! She even spoke up later to defend their relationship, and it was good to see them fighting for each other. They’re parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas, and I really hoped they could make it work.
Jen explained to TopMob News in November 2025 that constantly hearing the same rumors was exhausting. She said she’s learned to expect opinions, but feels frustrated for him because people don’t recognize all the hard work he’s doing privately.
She and Zac are prioritizing what’s most important and trying to ignore outside distractions, though she admits it’s still a challenge for him.

Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura have faced challenges in their marriage. After Jessi had an emotional affair with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa, they went through a difficult time. However, things have been better for the couple and their children, Jagger and Jovi, recently.
Jessi shared with TopMob News in November 2025 that she and her partner are working on rebuilding their relationship. She acknowledged that relationships aren’t always easy and that getting back on track will take time and effort – it won’t be a quick fix.
The reality star, who also shares a daughter named Peyton from a previous relationship, revealed that she and her partner are in therapy. She explained that while they experience challenges like any couple, they’re sharing their honest journey in the hopes that it resonates with and helps others who might be going through similar things.

Mayci never thought she’d find love again, especially after her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015. She was 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson, at the time and had already accepted the idea of raising him on her own. Jacob Neeley was the last person she expected to share her life with.
But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.
In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was cautious due to past experiences, but she and Jacob connected quickly. They stayed friends for a while, which made her comfortable with him meeting her son, as they weren’t seriously dating yet.
She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. Although she was scared of getting hurt again, she couldn’t ignore her feelings after four months. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.
Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the year before. Their relationship on the reality show gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, which led to discussions about their intimate life becoming a central part of the show’s storyline.
Jessi revealed in a November 2025 Instagram post the surprising reason behind the joke gift: her grandfather, Bret, drinks her urine and enjoys it as if it were a soft drink.
Demi and Bret aren’t upset about the past—or a past accident. In December, Demi told Entertainment Tonight that she and Bret have accepted everything and are now choosing to laugh about it.
Despite some public discussion about their intimate life, the couple is happily adjusting to life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter named Maude from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m constantly observing beautiful family dynamics, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed by my partner. He’s the most dedicated dad – not just to his own children, but also to my daughter, Maude, and I know he’ll be an amazing father to our future kids. What truly gets me is his unwavering commitment to his role as a dad, even when life gets challenging. It’s honestly inspiring to watch!

Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry have a long history together. They first met in 2015, when Mikayla was 15, and had their son, Beckham, two years later. They married in 2018 and have since welcomed three more children: Haven, Tommie, and Lottie.
As someone who’s followed Mikayla and Jace’s journey, it’s clear they’re completely smitten with their four children! But I recently learned Mikayla’s dreaming of expanding their family even more – she’s hoping for more little ones in the future, which is so lovely to hear!
In an interview with People magazine in February 2025, she said that when people ask about having children, she usually replies that she’s always pictured three or four, but she wouldn’t rule out having six. She also mentioned she’s looking forward to potentially moving to a new house with a large yard to accommodate a big family.
In the ninth episode of the show’s fourth season, Mikayla revealed that she and Jace were separating temporarily because they were having difficulties with their intimacy.
Mikayla’s marriage suffered as she started to deal with the painful memories of sexual abuse she experienced as a teenager, and as her ongoing health condition worsened with increased stress.
She told Jace that talking about sex or intimacy was difficult for her. She explained that she’s already feeling overwhelmed and on edge, like she’s reached her limit and can’t handle more stress.

I’ve been following Layla Taylor and Clayton Wessel since they were together, and it was sad to hear about their divorce in 2023. But I was so excited for her when she started hinting at a new relationship with Mason McWhorter in July 2025! It’s been fun watching her life unfold, especially with her sons, Oliver and Maxwell.
Their relationship looked confusing when you mapped out the family connections. Here’s the deal: Mason’s brother is Chase McWhorter, and he’s divorced from Miranda McWhorter, who works with Layla. Despite this complicated background, Mason and Layla were ready to see if their relationship could work.
Layla shared with Us in November 2025 that she’s currently hesitant about marriage, but prioritizes building a deep connection with someone first. She expressed contentment with her relationship with Mason, adding that they would consider marriage if the topic ever arose.
Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.
Layla explained that she and her partner were simply growing in different directions, and he needed space to pursue his own path. She said she understands and respects his choice, and wishes him all the best.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in its second season and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok personalities. However, despite the controversy with Taylor, Miranda has stated that the situation wasn’t the cause of her divorce from Chase in 2024.
She explained on the Weekly Trash podcast in August 2024 that the reasons for their breakup had been brewing for a long time. While recent events may not have helped, she emphasized they weren’t a factor in the decision to split.
Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.
Coparenting requires ongoing effort,” she said thoughtfully. “Honestly, if we’d always been perfectly happy together, we likely wouldn’t have gotten divorced in the first place.”
“The thing with him and I,” she continued, “we’ve always had a pretty good foundation of a friendship prior to even having a romantic relationship. I feel like that’s something that set us up for some level of success when it comes to co-parenting.”
