Andy Richter is getting candid about his looks.
The comedian recently discussed losing weight while competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars. He also talked about how people have always been interested in his weight, recalling that the attention started back in 1993 when he first appeared as Conan O’Brien’s sidekick on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
He shared a recurring joke: ‘I was surprised by how many different ways people could say someone was fat.’ He specifically mentioned terms like ‘cherubic’ and ‘rotund,’ adding that he found them irritating when he first heard them. He discussed this on the November 4th episode of the SiriusXM podcast, The Three Questions with Andy Richter.
The 59-year-old joked that he’d lean into the idea of being a comedic figure, but playfully noted that commentators seemed fixated on that aspect and ignored everything else about him.
He joked that people never comment on things like his being right-handed, his ethnicity, or his eye color. They always seem to focus on his teeth, though – they have to mention those, apparently.
When Andy was asked to be on Dancing with the Stars, the chance to get in shape with all the dancing practice played a role in his decision, even though he wasn’t immediately sure about it.
He explained on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast that he initially didn’t want to start, but realized he needed to push himself to get back into a routine. This motivated him to go to the gym and even do cardio – something he dislikes – and he also began stretching more to prepare his body.

As Andy’s start date on the show approached, he started having stressful dreams about competing on ABC’s series, and confessed he was still worried about how physically challenging it would be. Luckily, meeting his professional dance partner, Emma Slater, helped him feel much better.
He excitedly described his dance partner as incredibly kind and talented. He said everyone working at the event – from promoters to security and stage crew – noticed how well they paired up and commented on how much fun she was to be around.
All those dance rehearsals really showed results—Andy’s wife, Jennifer Herrera, even praised his dedication to the show’s tough schedule.
She shared on Instagram on October 22nd how impressed she is with his progress and noticeable health improvements. She noted that his dedication – working out four hours a day, seven days a week, even when unwell – is clearly making him healthier and happier from within.

The Bravo host detailed his health and fitness journey using an Ozempic-like drug.
During a September 2025 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, the 57-year-old revealed he had lost a significant amount of weight this summer by using a GLP-1 medication. He explained he’d been unhappy with his weight for some time and, after discussing it with his doctor last year, decided to try a GLP-1. The medication was recommended not just for weight loss, but also to help with plaque buildup in his arteries and high blood pressure. He described it as a health benefit overall and said he was glad he’d decided to move forward with it.
He added that it really helped him manage his cravings, which he’d been struggling with, and motivated him to be more disciplined with his diet and exercise.

The singer shared in November 2024 that he had lost 120 pounds.
Jelly Roll explained he shared his personal battles openly, specifically on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast, Dumb Blonde, because he wants to be honest with people about his struggles.
He explained that his success wasn’t because of his weight, but rather despite it, and he wanted everyone to understand that.

The talk show host has been feeling healthier lately and has lost weight. She recently learned she was pre-diabetic, which motivated her to prioritize her health. She told People magazine that she’s been following her doctor’s advice – something she hadn’t consistently done for a couple of years – and that eating a protein-rich diet has been working well for her most of the time.
She is a Texas girlie after all, “so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
The mother of River and Remington is settling into her new life in New York City and enjoying the change of pace. She joked that walking around the city is great exercise, and she’s been focusing on wellness, recently getting into infrared saunas and even a cold plunge after friends convinced her to try it.
She decided against taking the popular weight loss drugs many people are talking about. She explained on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2024 that her doctor had been encouraging her for two years, but she was hesitant due to existing thyroid issues. While many assume it was Ozempic, she clarified she was offered a different medication – one that helps process sugar, as her body doesn’t do so effectively on its own.

Everyone’s getting health advice from a media icon who’s feeling fantastic! She shared her secrets with Entertainment Tonight, explaining that it’s not just one thing that keeps her healthy—it’s a combination of things like treadmill workouts, hiking, drinking plenty of water, and eating well. She emphasized that it’s truly everything working together.
Oprah Winfrey recently shared that she’s using a weight loss medication, though she hasn’t revealed which one. In an interview with People magazine, she described feeling relieved and grateful that a medically approved option exists, saying it feels like a ‘gift’ and allows her to stop hiding and facing ridicule. She emphasized that she’s finished with the shame she’s felt from others and, importantly, from herself.

The HGTV personality demonstrated a remarkable life change by sharing details of his two-year fitness journey in an Instagram post from July 2023.
He explained that sometimes what feels like the right path actually requires a change in direction to truly improve. While he used to do hot yoga with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, he realized he lacked a consistent fitness plan, didn’t monitor his diet, and wasn’t getting any professional advice.
Nutritionist Sean Torbati says he’s focused on healthy eating and doing hot yoga once or twice a week to improve both his mental and physical well-being. He believes that staying motivated and persistent is key to success.
Let me tell you, a huge turning point for me came when I truly connected with why I wanted to prioritize my health. It wasn’t about quick fixes or trends; it was about wanting to feel amazing, be fully present for my family, and enjoy a long, healthy life. That realization—that deep ‘why’—was the moment I really committed and started putting in the work!

The cohost of The View shared that she used Mounjaro, a medication for type 2 diabetes, to lose weight after gaining weight in 2021.
She revealed on a recent talk show that she once weighed nearly 300 pounds. She explained that she had previously used steroids and other substances, but has since lost weight with the help of a medication called Mounjaro, which she currently uses.

The Grammy-winning artist is aware people noticed her impressive physical transformation, which she achieved through a combination of diet, exercise, and a weight loss medication containing GLP-1.
Okay, so I’m obsessed with how amazing she looks! She posted on Instagram that after having her second baby, she really committed to getting back in shape. She didn’t just do it alone, though! She worked with a nutritionist, totally changed her lifestyle, and even hired a trainer. And honestly? She admitted to using Mounjaro to help, and good for her! She said she feels incredible, and you can totally see it! I’m so inspired by her honesty and dedication!

Okay, seriously, she knows she’s amazing, with or without anyone telling her, thank you very much! All this talk about her changing her body? She finally addressed it on Instagram last month, and honestly, it was everything. She said – and I quote – ‘I hate addressing this, but no, I have not had medical intervention to lose weight.’ Like, she doesn’t need anyone’s approval, and she’s just living her best life, and I’m so here for it!
Oh my gosh, you guys, she actually said it! She admitted she’s down to 285! I’ve been tracking her journey so closely, and it’s amazing. She’s lost a total of 100 pounds – can you believe it?! And 50 of those pounds came after losing her sweet mom, Babs, back in December 2022. It’s been almost a year now that she’s maintained 285, and honestly? I’m SO proud of her! It’s not just about the number, it’s about how strong she is.
Simply put, she said she appreciated the compliments, but she doesn’t like focusing on appearances – either her own or anyone else’s.

The actress, known for her attractiveness everywhere from Cleveland to Los Angeles, recently shared her thoughts on body image in an Instagram post last February.
The Food Network host shared a 2014 bikini photo and explained that she weighs 150 pounds despite being 5’4″ tall. She doesn’t weigh herself anymore, saying that society’s definition of ‘overweight’ is irrelevant and that she used to believe those standards for too long.
Honestly, hearing her say that just wrecked me in the best way. She finally feels free, you know? Like all the stress of trying to be a certain size just vanished, and she realized who she always was: a genuinely kind, funny, and amazing person. And it hit me so hard – she’s absolutely right! Your worth isn’t about the number on the scale, it’s about you – your heart, your personality, everything that makes you, you. She said we need to remember that, and that we’re enough exactly as we are, and I’m just… completely obsessed with that message. It’s everything.
As for anyone that might not agree, she summed up, “F–k ‘em.”

The musician says he feels fantastic after losing 55 pounds, even describing himself as a rockstar. In an April 2023 Instagram post, he shared that people have been asking about his weight loss and how it’s affected his performances. He says he’s really enjoying performing and feels healthier than ever.
He explained that becoming a father in 2022 was his motivation for making healthier choices. He decided to give up soda and improve his diet so he could be there for his daughter for a long time. He plans to quit smoking and cut back on alcohol next, but says he’s taking things one step at a time.

She admitted feeling a lot of pressure to lose weight after giving birth to her son, Sidney, in November 2022. She told TopMob News that losing 85 pounds became her main focus. She explained she was so focused on it because she wanted to avoid unwanted attention and just be left alone.
She’s not suggesting everyone follow her intense method. “It took a lot of effort,” she explained. “It wasn’t enjoyable, and I was constantly hungry, but I’m very pleased with how it turned out.”

The actor, known for his role on Roseanne, has experienced many ups and downs with his health. He used to drastically lose weight for a few months, then fall back into unhealthy habits, admitting in 2017, “I’d lose 60 or 70 pounds and then reward myself with junk food.” This time, however, he’s focused on a slower, more sustainable approach, prioritizing movement and exercise, realizing he needs to stay active as he gets older.
He’s kept off 200 pounds by focusing on a healthy lifestyle: lots of walking and a Mediterranean diet rich in fish, vegetables, and nuts. He told Men’s Health that it feels like ongoing recovery, but he embraces it because it’s something he enjoys.

Following his type 2 diabetes diagnosis and the loss of his father and brother to heart attacks, the host of The Price Is Right decided to improve his diet and focus on healthy eating.
He told Entertainment Tonight that his secret to success was cutting out all carbohydrates. He explained that he avoids everything from bread and pizza to corn and beans, and even limits himself to egg whites or Greek yogurt with a little fruit for breakfast. He admitted to occasionally indulging, but generally sticks to a completely carb-free diet, even avoiding something as small as a cracker, and incorporates a lot of cardio into his daily routine.
And to wash it all down, “I don’t drink anything but water,” he said. “No coffee, no tea, no soda.”

After losing an incredible 440 pounds, the star of 1000-lb Sisters has achieved some amazing new experiences, which have been shared on her TLC show. These include flying on an airplane, being able to use a seatbelt and ride in the front seat of a car, enjoying a hot air balloon ride, and going on attractions at Disney World.
In a recent TikTok video, Slaton shared how much it means to her to be able to do everyday things like buckle her seatbelt without needing an extension. She explained that it’s a big accomplishment because she hadn’t been able to do it for years, and it’s easy to take simple things like that for granted.
I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished,” the reality star explained. “I worked hard to lose the weight and now I’m finally enjoying life, and that’s a huge accomplishment for me.

The former Vanderpump Rules star is focusing on health and wellness. Though she’s back on the Jenny Craig plan and hoping to see progress, she told TopMob News in February that her priority is being a good role model for her son. While she’d like to lose weight, she wants to show healthy habits to her and Jax Taylor’s son, Cruz.
Oh my gosh, you guys, he’s just so right! I heard him say it himself – he really wants to show everyone how important a healthy lifestyle is. Seriously, working out is everything to him, and it’s not just about looks, it’s about how it makes him feel. He’s always talking about how crucial it is to be on a good, healthy path, and honestly, it’s inspiring! It’s just…so him.

I’ve been so impressed watching this musician transform! She’s really committed to strength training, and all that hard work on her physique is clearly paying off. It’s amazing to see her dedication!
In a 2023 interview with People, the star shared how proud they are of their progress. They explained that fitness is now a key part of their life, and they’ve consistently prioritized their health through regular exercise and dedication.
She’s been working really hard, and mentioned she might start offering intense workout sessions, which she jokingly called “Hottie Bootcamp.” She described these workouts as a challenging mix of exercises like deadlifts, jump rope, lunges, and mountain climbers. In one video, she admitted the workouts were incredibly tough – “It really burns!” – but added that she was seeing great results, specifically toned thighs.

When the pandemic began in March 2020, just a few months after the former Pretty Little Liars star had her first daughter, Atlas, she admitted to TopMob News she felt incredibly unmotivated. With everything seemingly stopping, she decided to just let go and not worry about it.
Okay, so I’m totally obsessed with her journey, and it’s been SO relatable. She used to be all about balanced eating and working out, but then after having the baby, and with everything crazy happening in 2020, it all went out the window! She just started grabbing whatever, and honestly, I get it. But she misses feeling good, you know? She really misses loving her body again, and it’s so real to see her admit that. It’s like, she’s finally ready to get back to feeling amazing, and I’m here for it!
She was excited but also a little doubtful when she heard about Openfit’s 4 Weeks of Focus program led by trainer Kelsey Heenan.
After consistently starting her day for a month with warm water and lemon, plus a 30-minute workout that mixed cardio, HIIT, and strength training, she felt completely transformed. She explained her new approach to food, saying she still enjoys treats but balances them with healthier options, like adding spinach to pizza. She was surprised by how good she felt, admitting, ‘I was amazed!’ Despite being active all her life, she realized she’d never actually lifted heavier weights – up to 40 or 50 pounds.

The fitness influencer, known online as Fat Girl Fed Up, recently shared on Instagram that she didn’t reach her weight loss goal of dropping below 200 pounds. However, she decided to focus on her progress and still celebrate her achievements, proving she doesn’t let minor setbacks discourage her.
She reminded herself that any step forward, however small, still counts. She acknowledged she’d put in a lot of effort this week, and realized that just as she didn’t gain weight quickly, she won’t lose it quickly either. Her mantra was to just keep moving forward, regardless of the challenges.
She’s confident she can achieve her health goals. “I’m going to reach my ideal state,” she declared. “It might take weeks or even a year, but we’ll get there eventually. Just keep moving forward, believe in yourself, and focus on making progress, not achieving perfection.”

Driven to improve their fitness for more challenging gymnastics, the Queer Eye star successfully transformed their health and well-being.
In an August 2022 TikTok video, they revealed they’d been working with a nutritionist since April and had lost 35 pounds. They explained the weight loss was driven by a desire to improve their physique for gymnastics and their career.
Let me tell you, when it comes to making a real change – whether it’s with a new fitness routine or how you’re eating – be patient with yourself! I’ve learned from experience that results don’t happen overnight. In fact, it took me a full three weeks of consistent effort before I started to see any noticeable difference. So, if you’re committed to a new lifestyle, give it at least three weeks of dedicated work before you get discouraged. It’s a marathon, not a sprint!

Before turning thirty in 2022, the former Disney Channel star decided to start a new fitness plan.
The actor, who is married to model Barbara Palvin, shared an Instagram post in April explaining that he used to be self-conscious about his body as a child and wore a shirt while swimming. He decided in his late twenties to transform his physique and embrace weightlifting, calling the post his ‘meat head post’.
He described the workout – a combination of weightlifting and kettlebell exercises – as challenging, but expressed pride in his improvement and stated he’s not finished yet.

Everyone has ups and downs, and things don’t always go as planned. This was clear when the actress openly shared on Instagram in January 2024 that she had regained 13.6 kilograms after successfully reaching her goal weight of 75 kilograms back in 2020.
Wilson admitted she’s been struggling to maintain her healthy habits due to a busy filming schedule. She’s been working hard to overcome emotional eating and switch to a diet focused on protein instead of carbs, but finds it difficult to fit in her boxing and hiking workouts.
Wilson confessed that stress caused them to gain weight, which negatively impacted their self-esteem. They acknowledged it wasn’t logical to feel this way, but admitted it was the truth.

Giving up his favorite beers? No problem. And dedicating himself to intense daily workouts – like the P90X program, kickboxing, and running – as he told Men’s Journal? Absolutely.
For Chris Pratt, the hardest part of getting into superhero shape—losing 60 pounds from his role in Parks and Recreation to Guardians of the Galaxy—was drinking a huge amount of water: one ounce for every pound of his body weight each day.
“I was peeing all day long, every day,” he explained. “That part was a nightmare,”

Okay, so Paul Rudd was always adorable, like, a total classic. But even I did a double-take when I heard he was going to be a superhero! It was so unexpected, even though he’s always been amazing, you know? It just didn’t seem to fit, which is probably why everyone else was so surprised too!
Paul Rudd said that when people found out he was cast in the movie, the typical reaction was disbelief. He recalled people saying things like, ‘Paul Rudd as a superhero? Seriously?’ when he spoke with Variety in 2015.
He understood his task perfectly. He described his training like Chris Pratt preparing for an action role: cut out all enjoyment for a year, and then you can convincingly play the hero.

After having her older children, the author of the Just Eat book returned to the South Beach diet to help her feel like herself again. She told TopMob News that the high-protein plan worked quickly. “I started the program, I exercised, and I immediately felt better,” she said.
Before anything else, she’s fully embracing the time after giving birth. Decker, a mother to Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest, and baby Denver (born in February 2024), emphasizes, “New moms should focus on recovery, not weight loss.” She advises mothers to prioritize feeding and bonding with their babies, allowing their bodies to heal naturally. “Don’t listen to the pressure to lose weight right away,” she says. “Your body will let you know when it’s ready to exercise and be active. Focus on feeling good and having the energy to care for your newborn.”

He’s enjoyed getting into shape, and the visible results – a six-pack – are a bonus. He credits his 90-minute workouts and improved diet for the change. As he told People magazine, he now focuses on eating healthy foods like lean protein and plenty of vegetables, while avoiding sugary drinks like soda.
What really motivates him is achieving his adventurous goals. He shared, “Beyond acting, I’m focused on outdoor challenges—I’m determined to climb the large rock formations in Yosemite, so I’m working on getting in shape for that.” He also dreams of hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail, a long-distance path stretching from Mexico to Canada along the American coast.

After giving birth to her daughter Kingsley in September 2022, the former Twilight star realized something important: she admitted in an Instagram post in January 2023 that her body wouldn’t be exactly as it was before, and she’s working on accepting that.
If she ever feels overwhelmed, she has a coping mechanism that’s just as valuable as getting back into her exercise routine after having a baby.
She told TopMob News that looking into her daughter’s eyes – whom she calls her ‘sweet angel’ – helps her feel grateful instead of focusing on her own flaws. It’s a trick she uses because it’s easy to be hard on yourself, no matter what you do.
