The second season of the anime Dandadan, based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga from Shonen Jump+, finished airing in December. The show has won over fans with its unique story, endearing characters, and stunning visuals. Many consider the adaptation by Science SARU to be one of the best recent anime, praising everything from its animation and pacing to the voice acting, music, and how well it captures the feeling of the original manga. A third season is planned for 2027, and fans are excited because it will cover what many consider to be the best story arc in the manga so far, promising even more amazing episodes.
Good news for fans! Crunchyroll is now taking pre-orders for a special collector’s edition Blu-ray of Season 2. This set includes all 12 episodes, a 76-page booklet with production details, and three exclusive character art cards. You can watch it in both English and Japanese with subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish. Plus, it’s packed with bonus content like audio commentary and behind-the-scenes footage with the director. Pre-orders are available on the Crunchyroll store, and the Blu-ray is scheduled to ship on June 20, 2026.
Dandadan Season 3 Will Include The Best Arc in The Anime So Far

I was left with so many questions at the end of Season 2, especially after that new character showed up! From what I’ve heard, Season 3 is going to be a wild ride – much more intense and full of action than what we’ve seen before, with some really unexpected turns. It looks like they finished adapting up to Chapter 71, leaving two more chapters of the Kaiju storyline for Season 3 before they jump into the Space Globalists Arc, which sounds amazing.
The current storyline has been hinted at since Season 2, and it’s the longest one in the manga so far, covering 47 chapters. Adapting it into the 12 episodes of Season 3 will be a challenge. When the anime returns, we’ll finally learn more about the girl in the monster costume and how she fits into the larger story. Meanwhile, the villains are planning their next move, which will put Momo and her friends in more danger than ever before.
Season 3’s villains will be a completely new challenge for our heroes, quickly exposing how much they still have to learn. They’ll struggle against this frightening new threat. While you’re waiting for the new season of the anime, you can watch previous episodes on Crunchyroll and Netflix. Plus, there are currently 18 translated volumes of the series available for purchase, and you can find links to buy them – or read all the chapters – on Viz Media’s official website.
