Dani Dyer is hoping to return to Strictly Come Dancing. She had to leave the show last year because of an injury and would love another opportunity to compete.
Last year, the previous Love Island champion prepared to start dancing with Nikita Kuzmin, but a broken ankle prevented her from performing in the first live show.
Amber Davies eventually took her place, but Dyer said she’d be happy to participate again if asked to return to the show.
Dani shared on The Jonathan Ross Show that she’d happily repeat the experience if given the chance. She admitted being incredibly upset by her foot injury, saying it was a very difficult time for her and she felt deeply saddened.

Dani and her father, Danny, were on the show to talk about their new Sky One series, ‘The Dyers’ Caravan Park.’ The show follows them as they try to renovate a caravan park, inspired by one Danny used to visit when he was growing up.
Dani wasn’t the only person questioned about a major BBC show. The conversation quickly shifted to Danny, who was asked about rumors that he might be on Celebrity Traitors.
Danny Dyer recently appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show and firmly denied rumors that he’ll be a contestant on the next season of The Celebrity Traitors, calling the reports “absolute nonsense.” The episode airs tomorrow, February 21st.
He expressed confusion about recent claims, stating he’s willing to address the issue if asked, but so far, no one has approached him. He insisted he would absolutely make the necessary declaration if requested, and confirmed he isn’t currently involved, which will become clear when the situation unfolds.
Rumors about Danny joining Celebrity Traitors started circulating earlier this year. Initially, The Sun reported he’d declined to be on the first season, but he reportedly changed his mind after seeing the show.
According to a source, Danny Dyer was always a prime candidate for The Celebrity Traitors, but he wasn’t interested in joining until he watched the show last fall and saw how much fun it was.
“As soon as his tune changed, it was all systems go.”
The BBC said they won’t be discussing rumors, but they will share information about the next season of The Celebrity Traitors when it’s ready.
