Danielle Lloyd showcases her toned abs in a bright red frilly bikini top after revealing she lost two stone following shock cancer diagnosis

Danielle Lloyd flaunted her well-defined abs in a vibrant, ruffled shirt, just after disclosing that she shed approximately four pounds after receiving a surprising cancer diagnosis.

41-year-old television personality and model posted a selfie on Instagram yesterday, enjoying some leisure time amidst pleasant weather.

Danielle was noticeable, flaunting her toned stomach, adorned in a red bikini with frilled capped sleeves and a golden brooch.

The woman with five children accessorized her bikini top with red and white striped, drawstring crochet shorts while relaxing on the couch.

Danielle labeled the picture as: ‘Life isn’t designed for ease, but for living. Occasionally joyful, sometimes challenging… Yet each high and low teaches you lessons that fortify you.’

In February, she received a devastating diagnosis – melanoma, the most severe type of skin cancer. This diagnosis filled her with such terror for her life that she found it hard to maintain her appetite or get a good night’s rest.

More recently, the previous titleholder of Miss Great Britain disclosed that she shed approximately four kilograms after receiving a startling cancer diagnosis.

Last month, Danielle, now cancer-free, confessed to The Sun: “As a mother, I tried to present a strong front for everyone, but deep down, I’ve been falling apart.

‘I was worried every single day that I was going to die.’

She has five children: a shared son named Ronnie (7 years old) and daughter Autumn Rose (3), along with three older sons – Archie (14), Harry (13), and George (11) – from her previous marriage to Jamie O’Hara.

Signs of melanoma can be seen as a new spot or alterations in an existing one on the skin, just like what occurred with the celebrity, who observed that a mole on her collarbone was undergoing a change in its form.

A year after her friend’s unfortunate passing due to bowel cancer, she felt compelled to investigate further and sought advice from her general practitioner (GP). Her GP then recommended consulting a skin specialist (dermatologist), who suggested that removal was necessary.

In December, Danielle endured a long and painful nine-week wait until her diagnosis was confirmed.

Reflecting on her response, she shared, ‘I suddenly started crying. I hadn’t anticipated it. Upon hearing the term ‘cancer’, my immediate thought was, “That’s my end, I’m about to perish.”‘

After that, it became necessary for her to undergo the removal of skin around the mole, serving as a precautionary step. Medical professionals were working diligently to determine if the cancer had metastasized.

Thankfully, eight weeks after her February procedure, Danielle was told she was cancer free.

She previous announced her diagnosis to her followers in a tearful video on Instagram in February.

In the video, Danielle how she’d noticed a change to one of her moles.

She shared that she had informed her eldest three children about her health condition, while choosing not to disclose it to her younger two.

In my professional opinion, I found myself treading lightly due to their youthful innocence. I was concerned that without proper guidance, they might misinterpret the situation and reach undesirable conclusions.

Additionally, Danielle remembered the instance when she was informed about her skin cancer diagnosis, following a doctor’s visit where she had a ‘relatively small’ mole on her neck examined, as it appeared to have altered its shape.

Danielle hasn’t experienced her first health concern related to cancer; back in 2023, she was urgently taken to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.

After examination, doctors found numerous benign cysts on her ovaries, which was confirmed following a biopsy.

Additionally, she detected a lump in her breast about a year ago. In October, following a biopsy, she received confirmation that the lump was non-cancerous.
