In the second installment of his humorous show “Mr Bigstuff,” where Danny Dyer recently clinched a BAFTA award, the performer has reiterated his dream role: portraying The Doctor on “Doctor Who.
According to The Mirror, Dyer has expressed his thoughts about the role as follows: “It’s something truly iconic, almost comparable to James Bond. This character is cherished by countless people.
With Doctor Who, you can take advantage of the unique aspects of the role to introduce something unconventional, perhaps a bit eccentric or stylish, which I enjoy very much. I appreciate the concept of it.
As a devoted admirer, let me share my take on the character I envision for the Time Lord – a Doctor Who who embodies the grit and resilience of a hardworking, blue-collar individual. There’s a hint of assertiveness about him, making him somewhat alpha in his demeanor, yet he remains humble and true to himself, expressing his essence through his actions.
He implied, “There’s a purpose behind why I was brought on board,” he stated. “I’m guessing you wouldn’t prefer me to act as if I were the Doctor from ‘Doctor Who,’ all very posh.

Dyer pondered if we’d ever seen a Doctor Who portrayed by a working-class actor, but then clarified that Jodie Whittaker, the Thirteenth Doctor, infused some of that quality into her role.
He went on to say: “I acknowledge that it’s challenging, as some of his lines involve lengthy speeches about topics that might seem confusing.
To put it simply, nobody has mentioned it to me before, but I’ve noticed certain things lately. The possibilities have significantly reduced to these specific points, making it a topic I might seriously think about pursuing.
I’ve always harbored a secret dream – one that I’ve openly expressed before. If given the chance, I’d love nothing more than to bring the Doctor to life on screen. Now, don’t get me wrong, playing James Bond is an enticing prospect, but the allure of the Doctor extends beyond just a role on my bucket list. I yearn for the opportunity to infuse the character with my unique touch, giving him a spin that’s all mine.
