The stars of Honey and Captain America: Brave New World rang in the New Year by watching the University of Miami Hurricanes win against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl quarterfinals.
Danny showed his support for the University of Miami team on Instagram Stories, December 31st. Wearing a U-Miami jersey and hat, he enthusiastically cheered them on with Jessica, even shouting “Let’s go!” into the camera.
The former Fantastic Four star playfully showed her support for the team by wearing a hat and taking a selfie. Her husband, Danny, captioned the photo with a reference to a popular University of Miami saying: “We got some canes over here.”
When Danny’s favorite football team won by ten points, he was thrilled and couldn’t stop thinking about the victory.
A message on the video referenced a painful memory dating back to 2002 – a game where Ohio State defeated Miami. It ended with a hopeful statement: “Today we heal.”
Jessica was just glad to see Danny so happy. Hugging him tightly, she jokingly asked, “So, are you over everything that happened in your past?”
