Daredevil: Born Again has received an exciting renewal update ahead of Season 2.
The Marvel series *Daredevil: Born Again* began streaming on Disney+ in March 2025. Created by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman, and Chris Old, the show features Charlie Cox as Daredevil (Matt Murdock), Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin (Wilson Fisk), Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
Filming for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again started in February 2025. While there’s no confirmed release date yet, it’s anticipated to premiere sometime in March 2026.
What is the new Daredevil: Born Again update?
Marvel has now officially greenlit Daredevil: Born Again for a third season, per IGN.
Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum confirmed that Daredevil has been officially renewed for a third season, with filming scheduled to begin next year.
Some fans worried that *Daredevil: Born Again* Season 2 might be the last, after Charlie Cox called the upcoming story arc the “final season.” Vincent D’Onofrio quickly clarified, though, stating there’s a strong possibility the show will be renewed for a third season.
I’m really excited for Season 2, but details are still being kept secret! I do know Krysten Ritter is coming back as Jessica Jones, which is fantastic, though it’s not yet clear exactly how big her role will be. And I was thrilled to hear Matthew Lillard, who I loved in Scream, has joined the cast – though they’re keeping his character a mystery for now!
The show features a talented cast including Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Dex Poindexter (also known as Bullseye), Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, the Punisher, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, and Clark Johnson as Cherry. Nikki M. James plays Kirsten McDuffie, and Genneya Walton plays BB Urich, alongside other great performers.
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again is currently available to stream on Disney+.
