Production on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been underway for months, and fans have already seen set photos and videos hinting at a big crossover. These confirmed that Krysten Ritter would be returning as Jessica Jones, moving her character from the Netflix series into the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, Marvel has officially released the first images of Daredevil and Jessica Jones together.
Entertainment Weekly has just released new photos from the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again, including a picture of Jessica Jones and Daredevil chatting on a rooftop – a common spot for New York City superheroes! You can see the images here.
First (Official) Look At Jessica Jones’ MCU Debut in Daredevil: Born Again
Jessica Jones is a sarcastic private investigator who doesn’t particularly like having superpowers. Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, is a more anxious and visibly troubled vigilante with a strong sense of justice. They teamed up in the Netflix series The Defenders, but we only got a brief glimpse of what a friendship between them could be, mostly exchanging playful insults about superhero outfits and the like.
As a critic, I’ve been following the buzz around the dynamic between Jessica Jones and Daredevil for ages, and Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil, recently shed some light on it. He told Entertainment Weekly that he and Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica, have a really natural chemistry – they just bounce off each other. Apparently, even they didn’t fully realize how well they’d play together while filming! They’ve been eager for a chance to really explore that connection on screen and have some fun with it, and honestly, as a viewer, I couldn’t agree more – bring on the banter!
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will stream on Disney+ in 2026.
