Fans have been hoping to see them team up, and it’s finally happening: Charlie Cox returns as Daredevil and Krysten Ritter joins him as Jessica Jones in Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. After the initial success of the Marvel/Netflix partnership ended in 2018, it looked like these characters might not return. But now, these heroes are back, with Daredevil leading the way. Tonight’s episode, the sixth of Daredevil: Born Again, will also mark Jessica Jones’s first appearance in the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
ComicBook is excited to share a sneak peek from episode 6, showing Daredevil and Jessica Jones working together to take on Wilson Fisk’s team dedicated to stopping vigilantes.
This is the Team-Up We’ve Been Waiting For

Krysten Ritter consistently impressed viewers as Jessica Jones, earning widespread praise for her acting. The first season of Jessica Jones was a particularly strong start for Marvel’s Netflix series, with a captivating dynamic between Ritter and David Tennant as Kilgrave. While the Defenders team-up series wasn’t as successful, Ritter and Charlie Cox (as Daredevil) had great chemistry. It’s exciting to have Jessica Jones back, and seeing her work with other heroes is a real treat.
This scene effectively shows Jessica Jones isn’t invincible like Superman. While she’s super strong, she’s just as susceptible to bullets as a regular person, which makes the fight more exciting and the opposing agents a real danger. In some ways, Jessica is actually more at risk than Daredevil, because she lacks his speed and reflexes. Daredevil’s heightened senses even end up saving her life by alerting them to approaching reinforcements.
The upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series will likely reveal what Jessica Jones has been up to since the end of Season 3. Because the show takes place before the events of Avengers: Infinity War, it’s been nine years within the Marvel Cinematic Universe since we last saw Jessica. At that time, she had returned to running Alias Investigations and was a well-known and accepted vigilante in New York City. There was also a strong connection between Jessica and Luke Cage, and their comic book history includes a child together, so it will be interesting to see how their relationship evolves within the MCU.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, episode 6 releases on Disney+ tonight.
