What did Charlie Cox say about Daredevil’s rumored appearance in Spider-Man 4?

In a recent conversation with Brandon Davis, actor Tom Cox addressed rumors about Daredevil appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. He confirmed that he’s not currently filming Spider-Man 4 in London, which supports earlier reports that his character, Matt Murdock/Daredevil, isn’t involved in the new film.

Charlie Cox clarified rumors about his involvement in a Spider-Man project. He explained, ‘Everyone assumes I’m filming something for Spider-Man because I’m working in London, but that’s not true. I’m not involved with Spider-Man at the moment.’

Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the next Spider-Man movie, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also expected to return. New cast members include Sadie Sink (from Stranger Things), Liza Colón-Zayas (from The Bear), Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Michael Mando as Scorpion. Mark Ruffalo will also reprise his role as Hulk.

There’s been talk that Hulk could appear as his angrier, more dangerous form – the Savage Hulk – in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. The movie is being produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Louis D’Esposito, and filming is currently happening in the UK.
