Bohemia Interactive and Destructive Creations have revealed their new game, Nailcrown. This fast-paced, old-school first-person shooter is set in a grim fantasy world and will be released on PC through Steam. They haven’t announced when the game will be available yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Nailcrown is a fast-paced, violent shooter inspired by classic first-person shooters. It features intense gun and melee combat, a detailed gore system, and a dark, gritty medieval fantasy world.
I love blasting my way through seriously creepy, messed-up worlds, either solo or with friends. It’s all about running, shooting, and taking down hordes of monsters – ghouls, minotaurs, trolls, the whole nightmare crew – to get the job done.
Want to keep the fight going? Join the undead in Multiplayer and compete against other players in intense Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch battles.
Key Features
- Boomer-Shooter Brutality – Fast, uncompromising combat driven by momentum and a dynamic gore system, shatter bones, splatter blood, and send limbs flying with brutal strikes.
- A Toolbox of Execution – Massacre your enemies with an arsenal of the genre’s greatest classics, such as the Nailgun, Shotgun and the Lightning-infused Impaler, or make it close and personal with a razor-sharp sword or skull-crushing warhammer.
- Evolve as You Go – Scour your surroundings for secrets and improve your character at shrines.
Find upgrades for your weapons to make them even deadlier and unleash the full potential of genre-defining firepower. - Dark Narrative Set in a Nightmarish World – Serve a necromancer whose motives are anything but noble, piece together his secrets as you advance through suffocating dungeons, storm fortified castles, and purge haunted villages.
Prepare yourself – Nailcrown isn’t about being delicate. It’s about how much destruction you can cause before being consumed by darkness.
