Just a heads-up for anyone planning to watch The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – season 3, episode 7, “Solaz del Mar”, has some major reveals! I wanted to give you a warning because I just finished it and it’s packed with spoilers, so proceed with caution if you haven’t seen it yet.
From the beginning of the zombie outbreak in The Walking Dead, the show generally avoided making survivors famous. However, Daryl Dixon recently killed a well-known character, marking a shift from the earlier seasons where most named characters were just regular people trying to live. This changed with the introduction of Beta, who became a prominent figure in the series.
Beta, who became a major villain on The Walking Dead, had a surprising past – he was a well-known musician before joining the Whisperers and creating a new persona. The outbreak dramatically changed him, leading to cruel behavior and ultimately a violent death in season 10, at the hands of Daryl and Negan.
It’s surprising, but Daryl hasn’t always killed the most famous people in the zombie world. While he has the highest kill count in The Walking Dead, he’s taken down some important figures before. However, his most recent victims were likely among the most well-known people left.
Daryl Dixon Just Wiped Out The Spanish Royal Family
I’m still reeling from what Daryl did – taking out a famous musician was bad enough, but now it seems he’s somehow tangled with the Spanish Royal Family! Even in the dangerous world of The Walking Dead, Spain wasn’t a total wasteland; there were communities rebuilding, and the fact that El Alcázar still stood showed that someone – the upper class, apparently – had managed to survive and thrive. It’s just… a lot to take in.
This community was made up of affluent and influential people who had thrived before society collapsed, and they even sought wives from other settlements for their unmarried men. But their control ended when Daryl and Paz broke into their base at the end of season 3 of Daryl Dixon, creating widespread disruption.
Daryl disguised himself as a stagehand and released a group of performance zombies, resulting in the King and Princess of Spain being bitten. This ultimately led to Paz killing the heir to the throne. Although Daryl didn’t directly kill anyone, his actions are the reason the entire Spanish Royal Family was wiped out.
Daryl Has Now Taken Down 2 Governing Communities In His Solo Spinoff
I’ve been following Daryl’s journey in Europe, and honestly, it’s been incredible – and terrifying! He’s really shaken things up. It seems like he’s taken down another major power, El Alcázar, making it the second one in his series. What’s even more shocking is the extent of it – he was responsible for the deaths of the Spanish Royal Family and completely destroyed their fortress. It led to El Alcázar falling apart, and the whole community just… collapsed. It’s a testament to how much power he wields, but it’s a truly devastating situation.
Remarkably, this is the second time Daryl has overthrown a nation’s dominant power structure – he accomplished the same feat in France. There, a group called Pouvoir controlled most of the country after the apocalypse, but Daryl, with the aid of allies, managed to eliminate their leader and restore peace.
While his win against Pouvoir wasn’t as clear-cut as the battle with El Alcázar, Daryl Dixon still left his mark on France, demonstrating that no community, even the most powerful in The Walking Dead, is safe from him.
