David Wilcock’s time on Earth has ended in a tragic way.
A paranormal writer and YouTuber, known for blending science and spirituality in his videos, passed away on April 20th in Boulder County, Colorado, according to TMZ. He was 53 years old.
Around 10:44 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about an unspecified problem. Officials later told TMZ that the person who answered the call believed the caller was experiencing a mental health crisis.
When deputies arrived at the home near Nederland, they found a man outside holding a weapon they didn’t immediately identify.
Shortly after, authorities reported the man died by suicide using the weapon. He was pronounced dead at the location, according to the news source.
After the incident, officials searched the house and property but didn’t find any other people. They are now working with the Boulder County Coroner’s Office to figure out how and why the death occurred, according to TMZ.
TopMob News contacted both David Wilcock’s representative and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department seeking further details, but hasn’t received a reply.
Wilcock was posting videos on YouTube until shortly before his death, with his final video appearing on April 19th.
According to his YouTube profile, he was a New York Times bestselling author, often appeared on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, and was featured in the documentary film Above Majestic.

Even though he didn’t post on Instagram very often, he’d playfully joke about being gone for so long, usually while sharing updates about his projects.
He announced his return to Instagram in July 2024 after a three-year break. In a post, he simply wrote, “I’m back! I’m finally ready to start posting again!”

A few years before, Wilcock playfully hinted at another social media break by posting a picture of himself with a lot of question marks around him.
In an April 2021 post, he asked followers, “What Happened to David?” and announced a contest: whoever could come up with the funniest and most creative explanation for why David hadn’t posted on social media for two months would win!
He jokingly invited people to share their ideas in the comments, promising to read the most creative one aloud on the next live stream and give its author full credit.
