This is the sixth time DC Comics has created a superhero TV show that received a perfect score from Rotten Tomatoes critics. Although many DC shows haven’t been critical hits, a few have achieved this rare feat and continue to be well-regarded even years later. Earning a perfect score is uncommon, so each new addition is a cause for celebration.
The new 10-episode animated series Bat-Fam premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 10th, released by Warner Bros. Animation and Amazon MGM Studios. It immediately received a perfect 100% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, making it only the sixth superhero TV show from Warner Bros. to achieve this rare distinction.

This show, which aired from 1999 to 2001, was highly acclaimed for its unique approach to the Batman story. Nearly fifty years ago, the Wonder Woman TV series, which aired from 1977 to 1979 on ABC and CBS, revolutionized superhero television. Starring Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and Lyle Waggoner as Steve Trevor and his son, the show initially focused on Wonder Woman’s World War II adventures fighting Nazis alongside Steve Trevor. The second season then updated the setting to the modern day, featuring her battling contemporary terrorists and criminals.
