Behaviour Interactive has unveiled an exciting new platform, where we, the players, get to cast our votes on various aspects concerning a fresh Survivor and Killer for an imminent DLC chapter. The polling is ongoing right now, but for now, there are merely two queries available – one for each character. The initial phase of voting concludes on June 30th at noon ET. Here are four distinct possibilities: a world similar to ours, a world ravaged by turmoil and destruction, a world where extraordinary events are seldom but authentic, or an arcane world where what we consider as arcane is their science. Each option presents a unique perspective that will significantly influence how the character responds to the terrifying events unfolding in the upcoming chapter of Dead by Daylight.

Once we’ve established the new Survivor’s setting, participants will subsequently be asked to respond to their first question concerning the forthcoming Dead by Daylight Killer. The developers have presented four initial choices for this character: earth-bound, supernatural, ethereal, or hybrid. The earth-bound option represents a regular human, although an “insane and ruthless” one, while the other three choices will each provide unique interpretations of distinct monster types. For those choosing the supernatural route, the Killer will be a “mysterious entity with unspecified powers,” much like The Plague and The Wraith. Selecting ethereal will result in a Killer reminiscent of Lovecraftian creatures. Lastly, the Chimeric option will introduce a monster-like Killer that is “a grotesque product of nature,” such as a werewolf.
