With all the Deadlock hype, I thought, ‘Why not drop a Doorman Guide!’
Valve recently released a bunch of new fighters to their beta MOBA.
But who is the doorman, and how much do I owe him tip-wise?

Initially, among all the characters in Deadlock, I strongly believe that the doorman guide stands out as a crucial addition. He is not just another character but rather an intriguing and distinctive creation, something refreshingly new for quite some time.

Despite your belief that you understand the concept of a Portal gun character, playing him offers an unusual yet enjoyable experience. His weak fire rate and limited ammo capacity might seem frustrating, but his overall speed and ability to dominate the game map more than compensate for these drawbacks.
The doorman exhibits exceptional speed beyond the ordinary champions, and his agility during evasive maneuvers is astonishing. This quickness and dexterity make him ideal for quick, in-and-out plays, showcasing his style as a swift and elusive champion.
As a fellow enthusiast, I’d like to share that he possesses abilities beyond just Doorway! Unlike another guide I’ve encountered, which primarily delved into the Portal mechanic, this one offers insights into other aspects as well. The Portal mechanism is undeniably crucial, for it creates chaos among enemies, providing us and our team a strategic advantage by allowing us to surprise them with an ambush.
Being dual capable of firing at and passing through obstacles is a significant advantage in the game. Yet, disregarding the call bell at the outset is a big mistake. This is because the area-of-effect (AOE) grenade’s initial impact already equips you with the necessary tools to attack enemies effectively.
We have two options: Trigger the bell early with a shot or manipulate the delay timer through mental calculation. This method is more dependable than firing at other players without portal doors. The reason for this is that the distance is accounted for as if it were on the map, so our gunshot effectively reaches them from across the map.
As a gamer, I’ve got to admit that my Doorman guide is a whiz when it comes to controlling the map, but boy, his pistol doesn’t quite cut it in terms of range. If I find myself in a situation where I need to take down an opponent from across the map, it’s better to let my teammates with more firepower handle that one!
Your Ult, Sir
Although the Luggage Cart might not seem as thrilling at first glance, it certainly proves to be entertaining when a miniature cart unexpectedly emerges, dragging foes behind it. Despite being fairly simple to leap over, its high damage output and adaptability make it quite valuable.
In the end, it’s his Hotel Guest who directly transports adversaries to the Parkour Map within Gmod, without any Doorman to lead the way. Instead, you’ll have to navigate the map using parkour techniques, all while sustaining damage and working against a clock.
Once at zero, players take the full damage and duration damage, hitting hard!
In my opinion, despite his initial struggles during the farming stage, his adaptability with this equipment becomes a game-changer. Once activated, he takes complete control of the map and dominates every player on it!
Instead of pressing your ultimate at the same time as enemies dash, I suggest waiting a moment. This is because if an enemy dashes with full stamina, it’s challenging for them to get away. However, if you can strike them immediately after they’ve dodged twice, it significantly impairs their movement!
Additionally, I might put it this way: Starting with an early bell ring for significant damage, then fully loading up luggage and the hell dimension afterwards. The first ability doesn’t require much attention to deal heavy harm, while maximizing the others provides substantial advantages such as buddy shields upon exit and numerous stuns!
Instead, strive for a more measured approach during the early stages of the game, avoiding overly aggressive plays. Additionally, make sure not to let any shots slip away, as those missed opportunities can significantly impact your performance, especially with the limited six bullets at hand.
