The character Deadpool, known for his wisecracks, has made a significant impact in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the film “Deadpool and Wolverine” often praised by both critics and fans as one of the best films in the long-running series. There’s speculation that Ryan Reynolds may reprise his role as Deadpool to fight alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in “Avengers: Doomsday,” which could lead to some tough battles for Wade Wilson following his alliance with the shortest X-Man. Recently, a cosplayer has combined two worlds by imagining what it would look like if Deadpool trained so hard that he transformed into a Super Saiyan God from the universe of “Dragon Ball Super.
For those unfamiliar or needing a reminder about the Super Saiyan God transformation, it made its debut in the Dragon Ball Z film titled Battle of Gods. This movie served as the transition point between the conclusion of Dragon Ball Z and the start of Dragon Ball Super. In this story, the destructive deity Beerus arrives on Earth, posing a challenge that even Son Goku can’t overcome. Later, Goku learns about the Super Saiyan God transformation with help from Gohan, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, and Videl. By joining hands, they empower Goku to assume this form. Although Goku as a Super Saiyan God wasn’t enough to vanquish Beerus, it paved the way for additional transformations that would be available to the Saiyan in the future shonen series.

In this latest cosplay, Deadpool not only adopts the strength of Saiyans, but also dons the Infinity Gauntlet, a legendary artifact from Marvel comics that gained fame when Thanos used it to battle the Avengers and decimate half the universe. Although Deadpool hasn’t utilized the gauntlet in the primary comic book series, a recent spin-off storyline introduced some extraordinary new abilities for him.
In this rendition, Wade Wilson, famously known as Deadpool, embarks on a destructive journey across various Marvel realities, systematically eliminating both heroes and villains. Although he doesn’t obtain the Infinity Gauntlet, Deadpool acquires the Hulk’s powers, along with other useful items, to aid him in his chilling crusade. This series, authored by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Dalibor Talajic, is part of a storyline where Deadpool wreaks havoc among friends and foes alike.
It’s not impossible that Deadpool could team up with the Z-Fighters, given his recent collaboration with All Might from My Hero Academia in the Deadpool: Samurai manga series. Although an anime adaptation of this series hasn’t been made yet, the popularity of Deadpool might lead to a wild crossover event on television in the future.
