A new year wouldn’t be complete without a fresh season of Death in Paradise, and we finally have the air date for the latest episodes!
The fifteenth season of the popular detective series will begin on January 30th, 2026. The first episode will air at 9 PM on BBC One and will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
Details about the upcoming episodes are still limited, but we can confirm the return of several cast members. Don Gilet will reprise his role as DI Mervin Wilson, and Shantol Jackson, Ginny Holder, Shaquille Ali-Yebuah, and Elizabeth Bourgine will also be back as DS Naomi Thomas, Officer Darlene Curtis, Officer Sebastian Rose, and Catherine Bordey, respectively.
Don Warrington is set to reprise his role as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, despite uncertainty about his involvement throughout the last season.

Following his decision to leave his position after season fourteen, he made an appearance in the UK during the Christmas special.
After understanding how much he valued his work and the island of Saint Marie, Patterson contacted the chief commissioner to inquire about the possibility of returning to his old position, asking if it was still available.
Season 15 will probably show Mervin building a relationship with the brother he recently discovered, after a quick initial connection during the Christmas special.
