Death in Paradise teases Selwyn drama as his reputation is on the line in first-look clip

In the final episode of Death in Paradise season 15, a man is found dead with unusual markings, leading some residents to speculate that a Caribbean sea monster called the Lusca is responsible.

Selwyn already knows Giles Parry, recalling the investigation into his son Benjamin’s death, which was previously determined to be an accidental drowning.

Mervin is still getting used to the surprise appearance of his niece, Eloise, who showed up at his beach hut near the end of the last episode.

I get the feeling she really wants the detective to help her dad, somehow. But honestly, it could just be that she needs someone to tell her everything will be alright. She seems like she’s looking for a little hope.

That’s not exactly Mervin’s speciality, but we have high hopes given how much he’s grown so far.

The Death in Paradise season 15 finale airs on Friday 27 March at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
