
Even though Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was released less than a year ago, a version for Windows PCs appears to be in development. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) recently rated the game for PC, giving it a Mature 17+ rating.
It’s particularly noteworthy that Sony Interactive Entertainment is handling this release. The first Death Stranding game was published on PC and Xbox Series X/S by 505 Games. Although Kojima Productions owns the game completely, they might have decided to partner with Sony again for the PC version. It’s possible Sony is providing the funding and support to make the port happen.
Regardless of how it happens, PC gamers likely won’t have to wait much longer to play the game. We might hear about it at The Game Awards on December 11th – it’s up for several awards there – or even see it released unexpectedly before then, so keep an eye out for updates.
