The highly anticipated game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming to PC next month, thanks to Nixxes. The system requirements have now been released, and you’ll need plenty of storage space – a massive 150 GB on a solid-state drive – to run it. So, it’s best to start freeing up disk space now!
The game offers great flexibility thanks to its many presets, and it even includes a Portable mode for players using handheld devices. It also supports advanced visual enhancements like upscaling and frame generation through Nvidia DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2. Plus, you can adjust the resolution dynamically and use built-in anti-aliasing for a smoother experience.
Progressive Image Compositor, or Pico, is especially interesting. It’s the upscaling technology used in the PlayStation 5 version of the game, and it lets you customize settings to fit your preferences.
The game will work great on ultrawide monitors, including those with 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios, as well as standard 16:9 screens. PlayStation 5 players will even receive a free update adding support for 21:9 displays on the same day the PC version launches. This means you can experience the game in a wider, more immersive format without needing to buy it twice if you already own the PS5 version.
I’m so excited! Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is finally coming to PC on March 19th. I already played it on PS5 and absolutely loved it – we even named it our Game of the Year for 2025! If you’re curious what we thought, you can check out our PS5 review here.
