From what the video suggests, it appears that starting Death Stranding 2 could happen almost instantly, and the quick transition to black might be so swift that you might hardly perceive it.
It seems there might be some differences, as shown in the video by Digital Foundry, but they found the loading time to be only 1.2 seconds, and they confirm that the main menu to game transition is almost immediate, which can be described as happening instantly.
