This console’s solid-state drive significantly speeds up load times, yielding remarkably swift outcomes. However, no game has managed to transition from the main menu to complete in-game control as rapidly as this one.
From what the video suggests, it appears that starting Death Stranding 2 could happen almost instantly, and the quick transition to black might be so swift that you might hardly perceive it.
It seems there might be some differences, as shown in the video by Digital Foundry, but they found the loading time to be only 1.2 seconds, and they confirm that the main menu to game transition is almost immediate, which can be described as happening instantly.
As a player, I’m constantly amazed by how vast and lifelike the game’s surroundings are. It just adds to the sheer brilliance of what the developers have accomplished.
