Be warned, this contains spoilers for the season 2 finale of Landman, titled “Tragedy and Flies.” The season ended with a significant change in power dynamics, dramatically altering the central conflict and leaving the fates of M-Tex and Cami Miller (Demi Moore) up in the air. Now that Landman has been renewed for a third season, viewers are wondering how Cami’s story will continue to unfold.
Wow, the season finale of Landman was a shocker! Miller basically forced Tommy Norris out of M-Tex, and now he’s trying to build his own oil company from scratch. It’s crazy to think that might actually bring Cami back into the picture, even though Tommy’s moving on. But honestly, I’m dying to know – will Moore be back for season 3? I really hope so!
What Happens To Cami Miller & M-Tex After Landman Season 2’s Ending
Everett
When Cami Miller fired Tommy Norris, it dramatically changed things for M-Tex. Although Cami is still in charge, her power is weakened because Tommy used former M-Tex employees and investors to start a competing oil company. He even partnered with powerful cartel leader Gallino, which threatens M-Tex’s position in the market and leaves Cami vulnerable as season 3 approaches.
M-Tex is currently running, but its long-term survival is uncertain. Nathan (Colm Feore) advises Cami to sell the company before it fails, and Cami considers his offer as a way to plan a careful departure. Without taking action, growing competition threatens the success of both Cami and M-Tex.
Even if Cami decides to sell the company, it won’t necessarily be a simple process. Her ongoing conflict with Tommy, both personally and professionally, has gotten worse, and he’s unlikely to make things easy for her. Their competition will probably continue to be a major issue in the seasons to come.
Will Demi Moore Return For Landman Season 3?
While Paramount+ hasn’t confirmed Demi Moore’s return for season 3, it’s expected that she and the rest of the Landman season 2 cast will be back. Cami’s story isn’t finished, and she now controls the fate of M-Tex. The show has established her as a key, ongoing villain, so removing her character would resolve the central corporate conflict.
Throughout the series finale, Cami played a significant role, suggesting she won’t be leaving the show. Even if the actress’s screen time decreases, Cami will likely still be important to the plot in season 3 of Landman. She could either try to regain control or seek revenge against Tommy’s new company, giving the writers plenty of opportunities to keep her involved in the story.
