Demon Slayer Has Disappointing News For Fans Waiting For Infinity Castle Part 2

2025 was a landmark year for Demon Slayer. The first film in the Infinity Castle trilogy achieved huge box office success, earning over 100 billion yen worldwide after its initial release in Japan in July and international debut in September. Following this success, fans are excited for Infinity Castle Part 2, which will continue the battle between the Demon Slayers and the demons. However, despite the first film’s popularity, there haven’t been any announcements about the second part – not even a teaser or a potential release date. While Jump Festa 2026, held on December 20th and 21st, 2025, revealed news about other anime and manga, Infinity Castle Part 2 was notably absent from the updates.

This yearly two-day event highlights popular action manga series published in Shueisha’s magazines, like Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump Square, V Jump, Saikyo Jump, and the Shonen Jump+ online platform. Demon Slayer, a huge hit from Weekly Shonen Jump, had a stage appearance on the second day, December 21st, 2025. However, the presentation was limited to a greeting from the voice actors of the Infinity Castle movie and news about an art book, Blu-rays, and DVDs. Unfortunately, there were no updates on Infinity Castle Part 2, and the streaming details for the first part haven’t been announced yet. While bigger announcements are likely next year, it means fans will have to wait even longer for the second installment.

The Upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 Will Continue The Battle Against Demons

Wow, the initial clash was just the start – things are about to get intense! Muzan has basically locked all the Demon Slayers inside his Infinity Castle, and it’s a nightmare! It’s this endless maze created by Nakime and her Biwa, and nobody can escape until she’s defeated. To make things even worse, Muzan has supercharged all the demons within – even the weaker ones – to get ready for the ultimate showdown. It’s going to be a brutal fight!

Though fighting weaker demons has become easier with increased power, defeating an Upper Rank demon is nearly impossible, even with multiple Hashira working together. The first part of the series delivered three exciting battles, filled with both tragedy and deeply emotional backstories, steadily building the tension. Its incredible success is unprecedented in the anime world, and that means anticipation for what comes next is incredibly high.

Fans of the manga already know that the upcoming fights in Parts 2 and 3 will be even more action-packed. Currently, there are no plans to release the Infinity Castle film for streaming this year, as it’s still playing in theaters in many areas. While the anime has covered a lot of ground, Demon Slayer hasn’t revealed how they’ll adapt the Sunrise Countdown Arc, which is the final story arc, until after the Infinity Castle Arc is finished.
