As a huge Demon Slayer fan, I’m a little bummed about the updates – or lack thereof – for the next film! After the incredible success of Infinity Castle, which made history by being the first anime movie to earn over 100 billion yen worldwide, everyone was so excited. The series has only gotten more popular since then, and we’ve been dying to know what’s next. But honestly, it’s looking like we won’t see Part 2 of the Infinity Castle saga in 2026. While a full release seems unlikely this year, I’m still hoping we might at least get a first glimpse of it before the year is out!
The anime series will begin airing on Japanese television in April. However, the movie Infinity Castle isn’t part of the broadcast and isn’t currently available on any streaming services. While Japan continues to show the film in theaters, its streaming release is still delayed. Interestingly, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which came out two months before Infinity Castle in September, already has a confirmed streaming date on Crunchyroll. The anime’s official website recently announced another round of screenings in Japan, promising a special bonus for attendees, but these will only be in select cinemas.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Is Holding A Special Screening in February
ScreenX is hosting a fan screening on February 20, 2026. This unique film format uses a special panoramic screen that wraps around the theater, offering a 270-degree viewing experience. Tickets will be available starting February 15, 2026, at participating theaters. Aniplex’s official YouTube channel also released a trailer showcasing what to expect.
I noticed that anyone who sees the film receives a really cool panorama card as a thank you. It’s a three-sided card with one of four different designs showing Giyu and Tanjiro battling Akaza, a powerful enemy. It’s great news about the new screening, but sadly, there are no plans for a similar event in the U.S. right now.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 Will Be More Intense Than Ever
The first book in the Infinity Castle series mainly shows the beginning of the battles, and the story promises to become even more action-packed. Our heroes, the Demon Slayers, are stuck in a never-ending maze created by Nakime, a powerful demon who plays the biwa. They’re fighting demons while desperately trying to find Muzan Kibutsuji, who has been weakened by a poison given to him by Tamayo.
Reaching Muzan has become incredibly challenging, as the Upper Moons are blocking their path. Even though Akaza and Kaigaku have been defeated, three powerful demons still stand in the way. The next part of the story will focus on other characters as they battle some of the series’ strongest villains.
