Starting this week, North American theater-goers can look forward to watching “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” in September. Meanwhile, Japanese fans of the shonen series will be able to witness the beginning of its conclusion within a few days. The first installment of the three-film series is set to premiere this week, and Ufotable has been consistently releasing promotional content to stir excitement for battling demons alongside the Hashira once more. Despite Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, meeting his demise during the events of “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train”, his fiery spirit continues, and the anime series is honoring this by offering a special gift to its fans.
Demon Slayer is giving Japanese fans a brand-new bento box inspired by Rengoku’s favorite dish, which he often enjoyed in the series’ most significant movie. Although Rengoku is no longer part of the main storyline, his legacy continues to thrive in creative ways. The collaboration between Kakinomoto Honten and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set to begin, and they have announced that this collaboration will include a special Black Wagyu Infinite Beef Hot Pot Bento box. This limited-edition bento will be available from July 18, 2025 (Friday) to August 17, 2025 (Sunday), and can be found at 65 stores across the country, including Kakinuma Dining. Each box comes with an original clear file as a bonus.
Starting July 18th (Monday) to August 17th (Wednesday), “Kaki-An Dining” restaurants across Japan will collaborate with the anime “Demon Slayer” to sell a limited edition dish called “Black-Haired Ox Infinite Hot Pot Bento”. The dish comes with original clear files.
In simpler terms, starting on July 18th and running until August 17th, certain restaurants under the “Kaki-An Dining” chain across Japan will be offering a special dish called the “Black-Haired Ox Infinite Hot Pot Bento”, which is part of a collaboration with the popular anime “Demon Slayer”. This limited edition dish comes with some exclusive clear files as well.

A Missing Flame Hashira
One particularly heartbreaking death in the Demon Slayer anime has been the demise of Rengoku. Although the Flame Hashira assisted Tanjiro and their companions in defeating a wicked ghoul who had commandeered a runaway train, Rengoku ultimately couldn’t survive his battle against one of Muzan’s powerful lieutenants, Akaza. Despite not using a sword during their encounter, Akaza managed to claim Rengoku’s life nonetheless.
Since the Flame Hashira no longer has a representative, it seems that Tanjiro is the most suitable candidate for taking over Rengoku’s role. However, unfortunately, due to Muzan’s manipulations, the main character from “Demon Slayer” has been pulled into the Infinity Castle. Fans of Demon Slayer should be cautious on social media starting July 18th in Japan as spoilers may quickly spread despite the Infinity Castle being released overseas.
Although the popular Shonen franchise has grown significantly over time, the original manga that initiated it concluded its story several years back. The creator, Koyoharu Gotouge, hasn’t given any indications of revisiting the Demon Slayer Corps’ world, which could mean fans may not get a sequel or spin-off. However, regardless of whether Tanjiro and his comrades return for more manga adventures, the significant influence that this Shonen series has left on the anime industry will likely endure for a long time.
