Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Trilogy Puts the Corps Members in the Spotlight
At the conclusion of the Hashira Training Arc, Muzan was poised to eliminate the entire Demon Slayer Corps. Nakime, a demon associated with the Biwa, had been monitoring the area for several days and seized the opportune moment to trap all members within the Infinite Castle. All demons were congregated there, eagerly anticipating an opportunity to attack humans. Although lower-ranking demons weren’t particularly formidable foes for Demon Slayers, the Upper Moons significantly outmatched even the Hashira in power.
In the upcoming Infinity Castle Arc, serving as the final confrontation with the demons, many Corps members are already engaged in battle. This situation presents an opportunity for several characters to excel, particularly those featured in the promotional material for the new merchandise lineup. The initial installment of the trilogy has guaranteed three significant fights, all of which feature some of the most memorable moments within the series. Notably, Tanjiro and Giyu will face off against Akaza, who is part of the Upper Moon Three.
In the upcoming battle, Tanjiro faces off against the Upper Three for the first time post-Infinity Train Arc, with a vengeance for Kyojuro Rengoku on his mind. Simultaneously, Shinobu Kocho squares off against Doma, Upper Rank Two, who will unveil his powers in this movie. It’s also hinted that Doma was the one who took Kanae, Shinobu’s sister, which adds a personal touch to their confrontation. Furthermore, Zenitsu is gearing up to engage a secretive demon connected to his past.
