Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle
On July 18th, 2025, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle graced Japanese theaters, marking the climactic battle against demons. The protagonist, Tanjiro, along with other Demon Slayers, is unwillingly drawn into the Infinity Castle, where they encounter the Upper Rank demons. Given its immense global popularity, Demon Slayer often grapples with the problem of leaked anime images, clips, or even entire films before their official release. Although the latest Infinity Castle film has been premiered in Japan, international fans must endure a few more weeks before experiencing it on the big screen. Typically, it takes several months or longer for anime films to be distributed worldwide, so this isn’t surprising. However, the delay between Japanese and international releases provides an opportunity for leakers to disseminate clips that have been covertly recorded on social media platforms.
It’s common for leaks of anime or manga to garner significant attention on social media, even though they’re generally viewed negatively. Such actions constitute copyright violations and may spread to a broader audience. Interestingly, the anime producers and studios are more stringent than the manga publishers in dealing with this issue. They’ve become vocal about it after noticing certain accounts sharing clips from leaked films. Although the official account for Demon Slayer hasn’t disclosed the specific IDs of these accounts, they’ve spoken out on the matter. Upon learning that viewers secretly recorded the film, fans have also voiced their disappointment over such behavior.

On July 25th, the official account posted a lengthy statement accompanied by the caption, “Unauthorized footage of the movie ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc, Chapter One: Akaza’s Return’ can be found online. It’s illegal to film movies in theaters without consent.
The message went on to say, ‘We plan to impose harsh penalties, even criminal charges, for severe copyright infringements. We’ll keep taking necessary steps so that you can watch *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba* in cinemas without any issues.’
Supporters of the studio encouraged others to identify and report individuals leaking content, with one user, @NS12756917, commenting, “Great job today. I understand the situation might be challenging, but keep going strong. I believe this person is also sharing unlawfully.
I noticed @JxLnf2 mention that the leaked content is becoming increasingly popular. Upon searching for it, I discovered it’s gaining massive traction – seems like a viral sensation! Unfortunately, I can’t install the app on my iPhone to view it directly, but just from observing the buzz around it, it feels as though it could go on forever.
In some instances, informing on leaks might not yield any results. @ta_tor8 explains, “On the quiet, if you report it, they say everything’s fine, which can be quite disappointing.
The much-anticipated movie “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” will premiere in U.S cinemas on September 12th, 2025. As per the official English social media account of the anime, ticket sales for North America will commence from August 15th, 2025. If you haven’t seen the earlier seasons or the Infinity Train film yet, you can catch up on Crunchyroll.
