Demon Slayer Team Promises “Strict Measures” Against Infinity Castle Pirates

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” is currently playing in Japanese cinemas, rapidly climbing the charts as the potential biggest anime film ever at the box office. However, Western fans will have to wait until September 12th for another chance to see Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps on the big screen. In anticipation of this release, some anime enthusiasts might be taking unofficial measures to watch the movie early. Similar to other popular films, “Infinity Castle” has been pirated, making it available online. Yet, Ufotable, the studio behind the anime, is not pleased with this situation and has issued a statement to combat piracy.

As I scroll through social media, I come across a post by the official team of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” addressing the issue of piracy surrounding their latest film, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc, Chapter One: Akaza’s Return.” They emphasize that unauthorized filming in theaters is illegal and they plan to take firm action against flagrant copyright infringements, even going as far as pursuing criminal charges. Unfortunately, piracy has been a persistent problem in the anime community, and with this popular film only currently available in Japan, it seems to be an appealing target for such activities.

It appears that unauthorized footage from the cinema release of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Infinite Castle” Chapter 1: Ubuyashiki Reappears is circulating online.

Unlawfully recording a film shown in theaters is a criminal act.

Strict and penal measures are being taken against such copyright infringement.

We will continue to ensure that fans can enjoy “Demon Slayer” in the cinemas appropriately.

The Infinity Castle Swings Open Its Doors

In an astonishingly short period, Demon Slayer has risen to become one of the most prominent shonen series, even daring to rival Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates’ long-standing fame from One Piece. However, its reign may soon come to an end as its creator Koyoharu Gotouge concluded the manga in 2020, with the anime adaptation still playing catch-up. As of now, no sequel or spin-off series has been confirmed, but many fans eagerly await further tales set within this world.

From my perspective as an observer, I find myself delving into the realm of the “Infinity Castle,” the initial installment of a three-piece cinematic journey known as “Demon Slayer.” Previously, in season four, our protagonist Tanjiro and his fellow warriors successfully completed their grueling Hashira Training, only to be confronted with a new predicament. The malevolent Muzan had claimed the life of the Demon Slayer Corps’ leader, inciting the remaining Hashira to seek retribution. A colossal conflict concluded season four, culminating in the heroes being engulfed by the Infinity Castle itself, leaving fans of shonen genres on the edge of their seats with a thrilling cliffhanger.

Although the initial movie in the series is titled “Infinity Castle“, details about the following two films, such as their titles and release dates, remain scarce. Nonetheless, enthusiasts are keeping their hopes high that they won’t have to wait too long to witness Tanjiro’s epic conclusion unfold on the big screen.
