Denise Richards is taking more legal action amid her split from Aaron Phypers.
In response to allegations of domestic violence and threats on her life, Denise Richards’ estranged partner has been temporarily barred from approaching her, as reported by NBC News based on court documents. These documents also revealed photographic evidence showing Denise with a black eye. The story revolves around the actress best known for her roles in “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.
In the court documents, Denise stated that during our time together, Aaron often choked her violently, squeezed her head harshly with both hands, tightened her arms forcefully, slapped her viciously on the face and head, and slammed her head forcefully against the bathroom towel rack.
54-year-old Denise asserted that during an incident at her estranged husband’s workplace in Malibu, where she sustained a black eye, he became suspicious, believing the room was filled with devices for listening. During his emotional turmoil, she claimed he hit her in the eye with the palm of his hand and hurled profanities, calling her a “disrespectful” and “offensive” term.
In another part of her submission, Denise added a photograph from a red carpet event that showed a visible bruise on her arm, claiming this injury was caused by her spouse. She mentioned that she had overlooked concealing it before the occasion.
Additionally, Denise pointed out that Aaron’s mistreatment might extend beyond the physical realm. She recounted an incident where his actions turned violent due to a lack of trust in her ability to handle a work trip independently.
According to her court statement, Aaron forcefully pulled me backwards by my hair on my head and then violently pushed me onto the ground. He shouted, “You’re not canceling my flight! I’m coming with you, and I don’t trust you!”
Or,
In court documents, she claimed that Aaron seized hold of my hair at the back of my head, thrust me down to the ground, and yelled, “You aren’t cancelling my flight! I’m coming with you, and I don’t trust you!”
Both versions aim to convey a similar meaning while using more conversational language.
The temporary restraining order against Aaron, issued to Denise, remains in effect until August 8. On that date, both parties will attend a court hearing. This order mandates that Aaron maintains a distance of 100 yards from Denise, her vehicles, her home, and her workplace. Denise’s recent legal action was initiated less than two weeks after Aaron filed for divorce on July 7, stating “irreconcilable differences,” marking the end of their six-year marriage.
