Undercoders and Fireshine Games just revealed a new skateboarding game with a cool concept. Called Denshattack!, it puts you in control of a train that defies gravity as you navigate a futuristic, dystopian Japan controlled by the powerful Miraidō corporation. A trailer showcasing the game is available below.
In Denshattack!, players control powerful buses and perform skateboarding tricks – like ollies, kickflips, and grinds – on rails throughout each level. As they progress, they’ll face off against uniquely designed trains inspired by Japanese railways while gaining the favor of various underground groups and rebels. The game also features challenging boss battles, including massive magical girl robots and a colossal, mechanical worm reminiscent of the sandworms from Dune.
In the game Denshattack!, players will travel throughout Japan, exploring iconic locations like Osaka and Tokyo – now covered by massive domes – and the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido.
The new trailer, lasting over three minutes, is packed with the chaotic and fun gameplay players can expect. It features scenes of players smashing their trains into ferris wheels, tearing them from their bases, and then riding them down mountains.
Undercoders, a game studio in Brazil, says their passion for Japanese trains began with early visits to Japan in the late 1990s. These trips also sparked a love for all aspects of Japanese culture, including its traditions, buildings, stories, and beautiful scenery, which ultimately inspired their game.
Denshattack! is being developed for PC, PS5,and Xbox Series X/S, and will be out in Spring 2026.
